I can't wait until the Lakers trade Pau and he immediately starts beasting when he is allowed to play center.

They were leading the whole game and lost the lead in the fourth quarter (typical). Keith Smart couldn't coach his way out of a cereal box. I really hope he gets canned soon. He's a clown.

The warriors are legit. Here's hoping that Stephen Curry's ankles hold up.
They've beat the Clips, Thunder and Heat this year.

I hope the secret isn't out yet... that Howard is returning to Orlando, completing the biggest heist in history.

His jump shooting needs improvement, but it's not horrible. However, he excels at driving to the basket and getting to the line, so it sort of negates his poor shooting percentages. Add in his D and ridiculous rebounding ability for a 2/3...we really need to play Jimmy more even when Deng is healthy.

Def reminds me of Josh Howard when he started out for us... you know, when he was decent.

One thing that I don't like about OKC, they rely way too much on jump shots.
It's tough winning a championship when you rely so much on jump shots.

Explaining the lineup change that elevated Earl Clark to a starting spot over Gasol, D'Antoni told reporters in Chicago: "We got to go small. That's just the way it is. It's after [Gasol] had a great game (with 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting Sunday in Toronto). It's not him. I talked to him and he understands where we have to go and we got to do it."

Mike D'Antoni, the gift that keeps on giving.

So can we finally admit he's a terrible coach already? How can an "offensive innovator" be so dumb?
What was his innovation? Go small? Run really fast down the court? Shoot more 3s? Whoopidy damn doo. I hate that turd.

No, his offensive gameplan relies on productive big men and with Dwight having injury issues, Kobe being a ball dominator, and Pau struggling, **** happens. He's an average coach in a ****** up situation, and he came in midseason. Nobody can wave a magic wand and fix the Lakers.

You always blame Kobe. Get real. Kobe is the only reason why they are even close to .500
You and your basketball philosophies. Newsflash, when ****** players pass the ball to each other they still suck. I hope you realize that.
This is 90% on D'Antoni. He's a turd who won't put his players in the best position to succeed.

I'm not blaming it fully on Kobe, the roster is a mess right now. If you think it's 90% MDA's fault, you're a dumbass.

This roster shouldn't be playing this poorly. Even with their awful depth, and injuries with their starting lineup, they should be a lot better.
They quit on the coach. Dwight is a little ***** who can't handle the limelight. Pau is grossly mismanaged. Even Nash looks like he checked out.
This team quit. And that's on the coach.

Dwight hasn't been healthy all year, Nash is old as **** and finally wearing down, and Pau has been a mess. Combine that with godawful depth (letting Matt Barnes go for Jamison was ******* stupid), and nobody can make magic happen with this team. MDA has been there for like 30 games, and he came into a team that looked average as is. It's not his fault here. He hasn't managed Pau/Dwight properly in terms of positioning, but that doesn't make him the lone culprit. The Lakers just aren't that good.

Well, the hire just never made any sense in the first place. The reason we traded Bynum for Dwight was for Dwight's defense. The reason we hired Mike Brown in the first place was to fix our defense, then they flip a 180 and hire an offensive coach.
2-3 years ago we were the #1 team in ppg allowed (don't quote me on that). This year we're 29th.
I think the reason D'antoni was hired in the first place was because of how big an emphasis we put on Steve Nash. Who, by all intents and purposes, is terrible.
hindsight is 20/20 but we should have rolled with Bernie Bickerstaff.

I WILL QUOTE YOU ON THAT!
2011-12 - 15th
2010-11 - 8th
2009-10 - 9th
2008-09 - 13th
2007-08 - 19th
2006-07 - 25th
2005-06 - 15th
2004-05 - 27th
2003-04 - 15th
2002-03 - 23rd
Lakers haven't been top 5 in the last decade, but point taken. The front office moves make zero sense at this point.
