No need to be a dick. I mean that does work for some but I don't think it's something you can fake. Either you naturally are, or you go through a long set of circumstances that turn you into one. And you're a young, positive guy so I don't think either of those options are on the table for you. And that isn't a bad thing, striving to be someone you just aren't is probably not healthy and will just make you frustrated.

Valuing yourself doesn't make you a dick. If you don't do it, no one else will. That doesn't mean you should be a self-centered jerk. It just means you don't need to be anyone's doormat. You don't owe this girl anything. You guys flirted some (in college, where lots of people flirt all the time) and went for coffee once, what closure would she even need?

This is common but it still surprises me every time a girl proves the stereotype. Shower them with affection and they get tired of you. Ignore them and suddenly they're interested again. I wouldn't bother with her. Her ego is just hurt that you're not falling all over yourself to be with her anymore.

So I just got home from the bar. While I was there this girl came up to me and started flirting hard. Ended up dancing for a song or two and she is absolutely gorgeous (way out of my league IMO, and she knows it....kind of a *****) so I am looking mainly to just tag her and be done unless I get lucky and get her comin back for more.
