Where Does Robert Woods Get Drafted?
A year ago there was so much talk about Robert Woods being one of the top WR prospects in this class. Now the offseason is here and I haven't heard much noise about him, good or bad. Is this due to all the recent talk about the Senior Bowl, which he wasn't part of? Or have people soured on him somewhat? Is the fact that Marquise Lee is the better prospect of the two hurting Woods' stock? Scott Wright has him down as his #5 receiver right now. I was just wondering what some of your thoughts on him are, and where he will eventually land.

I think he'll really move up after the combine if he can show he's healthy. He could sneak into the late 1st to a team like NE, more likely the top half of the 2nd. He could be another Greg Jennings IMO. Though he could also be another Damian Williams.

I don't think he gets into the first or out of the second.
Which is about right.

Also, do you think his USC pedigree helps him or hurts him at this point?

Run fast and he'll be a top 40 pick.

I still think he goes late first to a playoff team who won't regret it.

He's better than alot of the guys comin out. The only reason he gets knocked is because of how good Lee is and how many balls went Lee's way as opposed to when Woods was the focal point. If he makes it out of the first he is going to be an absolute steal.

If he is healthy and works out well at the combine, he could take a quantum leap up draft boards, he was a top 10 prospect heading into the season but an injury sidetracked him, so a return to those hieghts cannot be ruled out just yet.

I would take him if he falls the mid 3rd like a few people have mentioned. Would be a great fit in New Orleans.

Carolina would have a hard time passing him over if he makes it to the 2nd round. what might turn them off is the failing of Keary Colbert and Dwayne Jarrett who Carolina picked in the 2nd as well.

I think he's late 2nd at best and possibly even the 3rd. Guys like him (good football, avg measurables—think Sanu) get passed over a lot. But I think he'll come in and have a bigger impact than most of receivers who were selected ahead of him.
