Good thing Cuban runs the team and not you. Rudy is not a max contract player.

Quietly, Stat is having a very impressive season in the limited time he's on the court.
And the Knicks are +12 when Chandler, Melo, and Stat are on the court together this season.
He's averaging around 23 minutes a night and is getting anywhere from 15 to 17 points in that limited time. That's impressive. And those that are watching him will notice that his time with Hakeem looks like it paid off, he's developed some pretty decent post moves that he's incorporated into his game.
His defense is improving as he gets more reps too. My concern is obviously his knees and how we manage that, but if he can stay healthy this season and continue to improve that's a huge asset to the team going forward.

I just got caught up on the Memphis Grizzlies moves. WTF? They gave away two productive bench players and tacked on a first round pick, then they traded Qay for Davis & Calderon, then they flipped Calderon and his expiring contract for 3 years of Prince at ~$7.5m/y and Daye at about $3m/y.
To me, it looks like they might trade Gasol or Randolph before it's all said and done.
The only way the moves make sense from a basketball standpoint is if they feel that if they have a superior perimeter defense, opponents can't keep up with Randolph & Gasol's offense.

Wasted space on th *** - Calderon thing.. Though Calderon is a bit underrated, he is 31, Rudy is 25 26. Next Point, *** is way more versatile a will give you more all around play. Lastly, his ceiling is a lot higher and tbh the only thing he might have on *** is he may know the game a little more as far as IQ where as Rudy seems to just sorta play ball.

The Pistons are gonna have $22 Million in cap space after this season. If we amnesty Villanueva, that will go up to $30 Million. Stuckey's contract is only guaranteed for $4 million next year too.. so if we waived Stuckey and amnestied Villanueva, we'd be up to around $35 Million in free cap space.
I'm kinda scared..

What all around play? Rudy cannot do anything on offense besides shoot perimeter jumpers, and he's good on defense but can be exposed considerably if Tony Allen isn't around.

Simple when he goes to the rim people get out of his way.
Still think he has maturing to do but lawl at your argument nobody will join your side in that trade and its mind boggling to suggest otherwise.

I remember taking Jimmy Butler in a mock draft here with the exact same pick he was actually taken with and I got laughed at. I love that guy.

I hope he's ok too. He's such a dynamic player, I'd hate to see him come back and not look right.

Preface: I love realgm because it is hilarious entertaining, but in no way do I take maybe 95% of things said there seriously. That said...
Someone just suggested that Drummond sucking at FTs proves that FTs should be eliminated in basketball. His suggestion in lieu of FTs:
On a foul on the floor, award the team that was fouled possession and a new shot clock.
On a normal shooting foul that is missed, award the shooting team the 2 or 3 points automatically as if it was just a made shot.
On a shooting foul that goes in (and 1 situation), award the additional 1 point automatically.
I've been on the internet a long time, and this is easily the worst idea I've ever seen that is sports related. Probably top 10 of any idea ever that I've read on the internet.
Also, Drummond needs to learn to make free throws. I don't undertand players that can't at least hit 60% of free throws, or the people that excuse players saying "they are young" or "they need more practice, that's all." Did these guys just find out what a free throw was their rookie year?
