Will Ed Reed retire at the end of the season?
I believe he is as good as gone after the season, he just does not want to be a distraction to the team right now.

He'll be gone from Baltimore in all likelihood, that being stated I can see him staying around for a year or 2 longer. New England screams as a destination.

So new rule, NBA: Unless you have a root canal at halftime, SHUT UP AND PLAY!

I think he retires with Ray Lewis.

That was my reasoning as well.
He would be welcome in NE if he were afraid of being a distraction to the Ravens, though.

Didn't the Ravens owner or GM or someone say that they wanted Reed to be "A Raven for life"?

Reed said he wanted to play past this season but after this win it's hard to say what he'll actually do.

Maybe this is a little selfish but I'd rather see him retire a SB Champion with Ray than see him leave in FA and go play for another team.

My friend told me he read an article that said if Reed won then he's retire. Not sure how true that is. But hey why not, go out on top.

These are my feelings exactly, but I don't think it'll happen. It looks like we're ready to go a different direction, but I'd love to see him back next year. I mean...he's Ed Reed, and he's still a fairly effective defensive player (though of course not what he used to be).
