Oh yeah, that playcalling in the red zone was real top notch coaching. Harbaugh just morphed into Andy Reid.

That play calling screwed everything . Should have just ran it 3 times then pass it might of worked better and won it. All is done now. Time to get rid of the pistol offense and back to west coast running , PA pass. You can take the training wheels off CK now too.

I thought you said the refs screwed everything.

You have to figure out one excuse for the Niners being outplayed and stick to it, man.

He made the SB, something 30 other coaches wish they had. But again the omnipotent Brody is right, he sucks.

Jim Caldwell made a ******* Owl, it's not that big of a deal. And I'm not denying he was a good coach, but his awful playcalling in the biggest situation possible shows he isn't a great one.

I was a little pissed and over whelmed still. Yes I did say that but calmed down and watch some replays this am online. I just didn't understand the no call at that time of the game and last night.

I can't believe how good the Super Bowls have been over the past 13 years. Except for TB v Oak, Pitt v Sea & Balt v NYG, Chi v Indy they've all been classics.

I wouldn't call New Orleans vs. Indianapolis a classic. The Pittsburgh vs. Seattle game wan't the best thing I've ever seen either. But half of the games being great games is all we can ask for.

I think Ellerbe is their target. He's the one guy they cannot lose without having a major drop off.

Webb will be back, and Jimmy Smith has stepped up as of late. So that's Webb, Graham, Smith and Asa Jackson at CB. Not bad if Webb returns to form and Smith maintains his progress. Safety will be interesting though.

Krueger should walk. This season just screams contract year. Ravens seem to be down on Smith and there is always talk about maybe switching to safety. Webb and Ellerbe are their best players on defense in my opinion, at least they were this year. Although Ngata was hurt all year.

It's not enough to just throw in his general vicinity anymore. Kaepernick, Harbaugh and everyone in the 49ers offense should know that, it's not like he was playing at an all-world level prior to the SB, and decided to not show up yesterday. He's not capable of those kinds of athletic catches anymore. In my opinion that turnover is on Kaepernick.
I'd say it's half and half. Regardless, he should have jumped or tried to do something. Even the little things like putting his hand up could have distracted Ed Reed from making an interception. He literally watched it go past him like it was a spectator and did nothing. If you're going to tout yourself as the greatest receiver of all time...well I'll just say that Jerry Rice probably at least jumps and tries to do something.

Hell of a game. The right team won. If the 49ers won, all of us would be talking about how the blackout won them the Super Bowl.

Flacco was amazing this post season. The game was over when Kaep didn't throw to a wide open Moss in the post. Moss looked like 98 Moss for that one route and he had him wide open for a touchdown.

Well any teams that wins the Super Bowl is the "right team".

What play was that regarding Moss? And I'd say that game was over from the beginning of the series within the five yard line at the end of the game when Frank Gore was utilized once and Roman decided to call every play from the shotgun formation.

When VD just missed that bomb pass. Moss was wide open down the seam.

I'm not as harsh with the play calling at the end. I liked the roll out play it just didn't work out. They had their ace in the hole play in the qb sneak that they couldn't run bc the clock was about to run out. That is on Kaep. And 4th down, he had no choice, the all out blitz got there and blew the play up.

Should have taken the delay of game so you get some more room to pass.

I'll look at the film again and see regarding Moss.

The playcalling at the end was terrible. This isn't 'the first time it's happened as well. Even in the last two seasons with Harbaugh and Roman at the helm, and with two different offensive schemes we've had red zone problems. It's unfortunate Gore didn't have more speed like he used to.

When we were at the 7 yard line we didn't utilize Gore once in four attempts. We have arguably the best blocking line in the NFL and our money man is Gore. If I'm going to go down with the ship I'm taking my chances with him personally and try something different than a shotgun formation every single time. And if you are going to throw a pass to the endzone, throw it to the middle of the field. Inside the actual endzone. Not these little 5 yard out patterns where a corner has a chance to break on the ball and make a play. The corners have way too much leverage for that. They kept going back to Crabtree three straight times. Vernon Davis to this day is still never used in the redzone ever. I don't know why. Sure in hindsight it's easy to criticize, but at the same time this has been a problem for quite some time.

I was thinking about that too. Instead of wasting another timeout, maybe it could have been better to just take the penalty. I'm not that ticked about that though. Could have gone either way so whatever.

Crabs had a hell of a game. I don't really blame them for targeting him.

Vernon Davis and Frank Gore had great days too. The target wasn't as big a deal as the pattern being run. With Kaepernick's accuracy I would just trust something maybe thrown over the middle. An attempt to do so at least once would have been nice. Oh well, on to the 2013 season.

You're handling this loss very well. I respect that Ness.

Haha, I just can't take him seriously. Not only is he a blinding homer but he'll brag and talk it up when the 49ers are destroying and then vanish and not take the fallback when they are struggling. Just can't take that sort of fan seriously.

One thing that stood out to me about this Super Bowl was the arm talent. Both those guys spin it. Incredible arm strength.

Thank you, but I feel terrible that my behavior is not acceptable in accordance with Forenci's sense of online civil obedience.

In all seriousness, my team fought back pretty well and didn't let Baltimore just knock them out. The Ravens deserve it. I'm glad Flacco shut up all the people that said he couldn't do it.
