Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked to see Young blackballed by the NFL. He openly admitted to sabotaging his own team. Chris Rainey is probably a worse person, but it's hard to accept that a player would hurt his own team.

Because there were already significant attitude rumors floating around before the draft, too, and there were some people on here who just didn't care, saying he was the next DeSean Jackson and it was ok with them if he was a bit immature. There were some people stumping really hard for him.

The Rams claimed WR Titus Young, who was waived by the Lions on Monday.

Apparently the answer is: Yes, the Rams want him on their team.

Janoris Jenkins, Trumaine Johnson and Titus Young. Hope this works out. Should be interesting with the Corners going into their 2nd season, of course they're gonna stay out of trouble their first year in the league.

Can't wait for Goldson or Whitner to lay the smack down on him. If he ever sees the field. Hell, add in the Seattle secondary to that, too.

so...according to ProFootballFocus... Titus ranked 99th out of 105 eligible receivers with 33 receptions on 53 targets for 383 yards for an 11.6 ypc with 4 TDs 2 Ints, and 3 drops. Plus, that ranking had a lot to do with him doing nothing in the clutch. We went 4-12...and lost a lot of 1 possession games.
Brandon Gibson outperformed him in every way. All he does is take Austin Pettis' job.

If he's still on a rookie deal, he's an incredibly cheap player for a few years... I can see it, I guess.

I can't believe any team claimed him on waivers. Not like he was gonna be a hot commodity.

maybe they had to because he probably would have wanted $18 million a year to be paid what he thinks he's worth.

Does claiming him on waivers mean he plays under the same contract, and if he'd cleared he'd have been a free agent?

The NFL should fine the Rams for picking this turd up. Its all about him exactly what a team doesn't need.

St Louis, bringing good characters to the town since Lawrence Phillips.
Stupid Rams chose this RB instead of Eddie George.... way to thug up da town there again... this time Jeff Fisher. Isn't Fisher the guy who felt Adam Pacman Jones deserved a 4th chance?
Quote:
On August 21, 2005, Phillips was arrested for assault after allegedly driving a car into three teenagers, following a dispute with the teens during a pick-up football game in Los Angeles, California. At the time of the arrest, Phillips was wanted by the San Diego, California, police in connection with two alleged domestic abuse incidents involving a former girlfriend, who claimed that Phillips choked her to the point of unconsciousness during one of the incidents. In addition, the Los Angeles Police Department was seeking Phillips in connection with yet another, separate domestic abuse allegation that had occurred previously in Los Angeles.
On December 18, 2009, Phillips was sentenced to 25 years in prison on the 2009 convictions, to run consecutive to the 2008 sentence (which was reduced to just under 7 years), for a term of more than 31 years.[12] Phillips, California Department of Corrections# G31982, was admitted to the CDCR on October 16, 2008. Currently, Phillips is incarcerated at Kern Valley State Prison.[13] Under California law, since his crimes harmed other persons he must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before being eligible for time off with good behavior. He will not be eligible for release until he serves 26 years—when he will be 57 years old.

And don't forget another killer, Leonard Little.

Quote:
After leaving a party in 1998, Little crashed into and killed Susan Gutweiler in St. Louis, Missouri.
When tested, his blood alcohol level measured 0.19 percent, a level in excess of the statutory level of intoxication (0.08) in the state of Missouri. Little received four years probation and 1,000 hours of community service.[21]
On January 18, 2003, with charges dating back to 1999, Little was charged with communicating threats and making harassing calls according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department. Little's attorney, Scott Rosenblum, said the charges were filed after Little and his former girlfriend ended their relationship. Rosenblum added, "We don't think this case is going anywhere. It was groundless from the beginning".[22]
On April 24, 2004, he was arrested again for Driving while intoxicated after being stopped by The Ladue Police Department for driving 78 in a 55 miles per hour zone on Interstate 64. At the time he had red eyes, smelled of alcohol and failed three roadside sobriety tests. He later admitted drinking alcohol to the police.[23] After being convicted of misdemeanor speeding but acquitted of DWI, Little was sentenced to two years' probation on May 6, 2005

Nice mothafucking justice imposed on this baffoon killer.

Phillips was a beast in college. Too bad he couldn't keep his **** together.
Also, he should have been arrested for this: "Their concerns were validated during a Monday Night Football game against the Arizona Cardinals, when cornerback Aeneas Williams rushed in on a blitz and Phillips failed to pick it up. Williams ended up knocking Steve Young unconscious on the play with a hard, but clean, hit. Young suffered a severe concussion that effectively ended his career; he didn't play again for the rest of the season and was all but forced to retire." - from his wikipedia page.
