That was a legitimately terrible penalty. At first, they weren't even going to call anything, then Keith instigated. Then after conferencing, OH YA we must have forgot there was a monsterous hit 30 seconds ago or none of us saw it, so let's give out a penalty now.

I can see maybe if they wanted to give him like a charging penalty or something right away, but they really completely blew donkey dick on how they handled and called that. Refs overall this season so far have been pretty terrible.

Viktor Fasth has been pretty dominant so far. Haven't really heard much about him, but he's taking over in Anaheim and they are looking good with him. Love how a 30 year old can still come into this league like this.

I'm also surprised to see Saku Koivu doing so well. Ducks have been doing darn well.

Whattttt? HFboards is a magical place. Since the season started, there has been an average of at least 3 threads started every day on "so and so's hit/play called for ____....worst call in recent memory?!?!?"

I love hfboards because most hockey fans on there tend to be only hockey fans, or at least it appears that way, so they think something that happens in hockey has never happened before, or that bad officiating is only seen in like Vancouver or Columbus. I love hfboards.
