Yeah I don't even know why Nicks played this year. What was the point? He was literally 50% at best and was pretty useless out there. We were playing 10 on 11.
Oh well.
I guess Percy's injuries aren't a problem after all. But if he really did slam a coach to the floor than that's a serious character flaw that would concern me.

Yea I think there may be a bit more character concerns here then some will admit. I want to know the under lying reason why it didn't work, because it's hard to be optimistic about it working elsewhere without knowing why. It's one thing to class with just the HC, or the OC, but once it starts sprinkling on down to the S&C coach you wonder if he has some anger issues.

Even if you have a problem with the HC, dividing a lockerroom isn't something to be proud of either.
That's also scary to me. I hate when players think they are above the structure of the organization.

He threw a coach to the floor? Someone fill me in on that. That happens in my locker room, you're out regardless of who the hell you are. If you don't have a structure that's enforced from the top down, you'll never have any level of consistency in your organization. That's why teams like the Pats are always good...this stuff is built inherently into their organization.
My question in pursuing Percy Harvin is if you're going to pay that kind of receiver 60+ million, why not just sign Mike Wallace and save yourself a high draft pick?

Unlikely at best, but the most hilarious place would be Denver.
Can you imagine Percy ******* with team chemistry within earshot of Manning?

Not really news, being that we've all guessed this since the beginning of last season, but a "league source" says that everyone thinks Harvin's going to hold out.

Just for a comparison, Harvin has been more productive in every single one of his seasons in the league then Nicks was this past season, so I hardly find it relevant to bring up how he's constantly banged up or hurt.

Completely disagree. I absolutely love Harvin. But he is way more of an injury risk due to his size in relation to the way he plays. He's not an outside WR or huge and he seeks contact. He is nothing like Hakeem Nicks. His ankles are always on the injury report and that is absolutely a concern as he gets older.
He's a different risk than players who play every game with normal nicks and bruises and aren't always listed on the injury report.
I don't think it's that it has impacted his play negatively that much in the past, I just think he's a somewhat risky player going forward given his history with the q-tags and ankle problems in relation to playing style.

Don't want him. He wouldn't last a week under Schiano and there's no way in hell the Bucs would give him a contract that would keep him happy.

So basically, he's not injury prone, he just might be one day because he's small and has been listed as questionable on an injury report before? Cool story bro.

He's injury prone but it hasn't cost his game time until this year. He's tough and plays through minor injuries but he also sustains a lot of minor injuries.
That's scary for a player who runs like he does and touches the ball so much inside.

I'm somewhat surprised to find that as much as I've liked watching his highlight reels in the past, now that he's available... I don't want him on my team.

If Harvin says he wants Calvin Johnson money, I would have to venture he's trying to leverage his way into an open free agent bidding war after next season where he can pick where he goes rather than being traded.
I think Harvin is worth a lot of money for what he brings to the Vikings, but it's ludicrous to think he's worth even close to what Calvin/Fitzgerald got. Something like 5 years, $50 million with a big chunk of it guaranteed makes sense to me.

Context people. There is no evidence Harvin wants that type of money. The guys said this about Harvin...
