After today's performance I'll be shocked if Kentucky makes the tourney.

They don't deserve to. They're not very good this year. And, this just goes to show you, experience counts for a lot. You can't just win because you're talented.

Agree. The tournament should be real interesting. Might be the year for a team like Gonzaga to win it all.

UNLV was the last team from a non-BCS conference to win the tournament, and I don't see that changing this year.

Thanks for the light Sunday afternoon scrimmage Gophers. Gave us a chance to really work on our fast break finishes and let Eric May run iso sets.

His impact vs OSU and MSU on the road have put him in that conversation.
You can name a player that is better at a single aspect of the game, but I don't see a player that can match everything he does.
I don't agree with Dicky V much, but he remarked that Oladipo is the most improved player he's seen in 20 years. I don't have his experience but I have watched Victor his entire career and I'd totally buy that. This came out of nowhere.
His development along with actually graduating in three years makes him the perfect poster child for college basketball right now.

Vic acctually came from a HS that is known to produce Division 1 players, but he was still lightly recruited because he was just way too raw.

The Baltimore/D.C. area is loaded with talent. Kevin Durant, Michael Beasley, Rudy G-a-y, Carmelo Anthony, Jeff Green, Juan Dixon, Roy Hibbert, Will Barton, Sam Young, etc. I could go on and on and on.

I think Olidpo's overall game is what has improved the most, his numbers aren't drastically different. I'd put Kelly Olynyk of Gonzaga right up there, he was almost non existent his first couple of years. Arguably he's one of the top 3 or 4 players in college ball.

Acctually, I disagree.
Oladipo's defense was always pretty solid, but he never had a jump shot.
His 3p% was .208 last year, this year it's .511.

PJ is clearly our best player now, if we can keep getting more out of Strick, today can be had.

See, KU, this is what you're supposed to do with teams like TCU. Finally getting Perry Ellis going. Hopefully he can contribute more and more as tournament season approaches.
