Not true. I love Chandler. I think he's the heart and soul of our team. And in my opinion, the 3rd best Center in the league.

But a healthy Howard is still the best Center in the league and he'll be healthy next year. Or we dump salary and get CP3 with the money we unloaded.

Healthy Howard gives us a legit post game. Right now our only post game is what Melo gives us.

Yeah that's my one reservation. Bc Chandler is the glue that holds the team together. He holds people accountable, he plays with urgency and is the leader of the team.

We lose that with Dwight.

They never adequately replaced him though. In this scenario, you replace him with a better player physically, but not mentally.

And don't forget that hand checking was allowed back then. That's the single biggest rule change in basketball. It's equivalent to the 5 yards rule in football, completely changed the game.

That's what makes what Jordan did so impressive. He won 6 titles in an era dominated by big men, in an era where hand checking was allowed, real defense was allowed (defense is so soft now, anything remotely physical is a flagrant foul) and still was the dominant force that he was. Unreal.

I know we have Nash, but I would be completely fine with the Rondo for Howard trade that has been talked about.

He averages 18 on 14 shots now. Once he gets more respect from the refs instead of being treated like a mix of Shaq (the most fouled guy ever) and Rasheed (no respect from the refs because he was an asshole), his efficiency will go up even more.

It might not. Kevin Johnson has already set up a team of rich dudes to match the offer the Seattle Group made to the Magoofs and the city already has a plan in line for a new arena. It'll all be on the owners and whether they approve it or not. General consensus is that they don't want Sacramento to lose their team. I want them to stay the Kings, so i hope they stay. Honestly, i just want a clean FO and coaching staff with a re-tooled squad and owners that will spend money. I'm sick of the street baller wannabes we have under contract and the stupid, cheap broke asses we have as owners

Yeah I knew about all that, I just know they have a deadline supposedly and that is coming up (whether thats actually true, IDK). I wish that they would both just have a team because they both deserve one.

Morey will do pretty much anything to get a second superstar in. He may bide his time though if he thinks he can get Smith in the summer as a FA.

I know this deal would be a long shot, but I'm wondering if you all think it would be a good trade.

Chicago gets:
OJ Mayo SG
Brandan Wright PF/C

Dallas gets:
Rip Hamilton SG
Marquis Teague PG
Charlotte's Future Pick
Chicago's First Round Pick in 2014 Draft
Chicago's second round pick either this year or next year or even the year later (their choice)

Reasoning: Chicago would get the young gun SG that can create his own shot that they have been looking for in Mayo, as well as a backup big that could help out Noah, Boozer and Taj.

For Dallas they get a pick that should be a lottery pick in hopefully a better draft, as well as a talented young point guard prospect that is already locked up for awhile, a second round pick of any of the next three years their choice, and finally a second first round pick in what should be a stronger draft next year.

The only untouchable player on the Rockets is Harden. My best guess for a trade offer would be players such as Patterson, Jones, Morris, Asik and future 1st round picks for Howard.
