Offenisve line, Ertz, or Eifert and I'm a happy Bears fan.

What is your rationale for the Chiefs, who essentially have no quarterback, passing on one and then the Raiders, who do have a quarterback, taking Geno at 3 overall. It really doesn't make any sense....unless you just want to annoy vidae. Oh, well, at least it isn't Luke Joeckel.

As I've repeated continuously in mock drafts, I don't think the Chiefs take Geno Smith at 1st overall.
I think they'll trade for/sign Alex Smith (or Nick Foles, although unlikely), and draft Tyler Wilson or some QB in the 2nd round.
You guys act like Geno is a slam dunk for the 1st pick when all the evidence we have to date points to the contrary.

You are the one having him go 3rd overall, not me. That's my point, why have the Raiders take him 3rd overall when you don't think he's that good? Al's dead and the Raiders don't seem to be nearly as dumb in their drafting.
As for the Alex Smith love, I don't get that either. To me, he's just Matt Cassel with better coaching. I don't see how a game manager like Alex Smith is such a good fit for a coach who likes to throw the ball.

Where did I say Geno isn't that good? A mock draft is about what I think the teams do. It's not me as GM. If I was making a mock draft based on what I'd do, I'd have Geno Smith going 1st overall.
That's now how you're supposed to do mock drafts though.

Yes...PLEASE!...YES!
Jarvis Jones is exactly the player we need for our defense to go to another level.

So you are just arguing for the sake of arguing. In that case, I'm out.

No. You just can't comprehend the actual purpose of mock drafts or understand that my mock drafts are based on my opinions.
Complicated, I know.

I agree, based on his on the field play, I love it as well. Medical and work ethic concerns aside...
p.s. Should the concerns turn out to be legit, I would think Moore is the pick given no trade down or QB taken.

I really don't like Hankins as a prospect. We are getting two NTs back from injury this year and Hankins will never be a DE. So no, he won't be the pick. With those options I guess I'd take Kawann Short. No great options there though.

Let's just hope all the flags are cleared this week and we have the chance to take him...

Are you saying that the Chiefs deciding not to draft Geno and the Raiders deciding to take him is a completely unrealistic scenario? This would be essentially the same argument as critiquing a 2008 mock as "why would you have Miami passing on Matt Ryan for Jake Long and then have Ryan go to Atlanta at 3?"
