4.57 For Stedman is a little disappointing, he probably plays in the 4.45-4.48 range though so hopefully he can do a little better on his next run.

Is Tavon Austin a top 20 pick now??
Percy Harvin without the personality issues.

Marquise Goodwin is coming up. 4.22 is my guess.

Goodwin looked WAY faster than a 4.25 on that.

He had Logan Thomas throwing him the ball - I am sure he got plenty of throws his way but they sailed 5-10 yards over his head...lol

Also the NFL combine 'electronic' 40 dash time is only partial electronic, at the end. The beginning is manually timed, or when the clock is manually started.
It's not like in the Olympics when runners have to react to the sound of the gun which is when the electronic timing starts.
When a guy who runs a 9.85 in the Olympics can 'only' run a 4.42 verified at Indy, it tells you the NFL's electronic timing method is flawed.

Top level sprinters do not reach their top speed till about 60 meters in the 100.

You'd think they'd be able to show more than just an hour worth of programming before they start re-running it.

That is insanely dumb. Only Jeff Demps/trindon holiday would come close to falling into this category.

Justin Hunter had a very nice gauntlet. His last catch was superb.

Seriously, just put the NFL.com/combine feed on NFL Network. This is beyond dumb.

Gil Brandt @Gil_Brandt
I've hand-timed players' 40s since 1976. Marquise Goodwin, Tavon Austin were the first two I've timed under 4.2 seconds back to back ...
Yeah...OK Gil...

It's not like there's not other things going on that they could be showing. Guys are doing (non-40-yard-dash) drills right now, right?
I know I want to see Austin run the 3-cone drill.

LOL. That grandpa doesn't have the thumb reaction speed anymore to get an accurate hand time. Shhh. Don't anyone tell him.
