Sorry, I don't trust any defensive stat that has Andrea Bargnani 2nd and Varejao 52nd

Actually, I don't trust any defensive basketball stats period. There is just way too much that goes into defense in basketball to quantify it.

Im not a huge nba fan but i have kept track of it and have always been a nets fan believe or not. I still think Keith Van Horn is the man. I was just wondering what other NBA fans felt about the Nets overall roster strategy in the last few years. I have felt from the start that all these trades have been shortsighted. The Deron Williams move, I was not fully against at the time and it wasn't unreasonable at the time. Hypothetically, if the nets had favors still with brook lopez, and held on to the guys/draft picks that they ultimatley traded, do you guys think they would be in a better postion to be a contender in the next few years than they are now. Because I think they very well might be. Im not saying those moves didnt instantly make the team good and with a healthy deron williams might be more legit, but the thought crossed my mind tonight when I saw Ryan Anderson, a guy i hated how little the nets used and then cast aside.

Silly Sportscenter. I figured I was in for a treat because they kept calling it a "brawl" on the ticker, then when I finally saw it nobody even balled a fist up the entire time. This type of stuff happened in old Pistons games every other night, pushing and shoving, but I guess that doesn't sound as exciting as calling it a brawl.
