They are totally different. Could be he was simply predicting Floyd would fail like Jackson, which would have to be for completely different reasons.

Why are people saying his frame is maxed out?? He doesn't look muscle bound.
In fact he looks like someone who hasn't really lifted much in college.

When I saw Jones, I thought he looked much smaller than his listed combine weight.
Jones' problem is he may not be able to lift and put on more weight because of his spinal issues, in which case his frame is maxed out.

It's his BUILD. He doesn't have bulging muscle, but he also doesn't appear he has room on his frame to gain more more weight. His body is fully mature. Hell, he looks like he is about 36 years old right now. He has a strong but lanky frame and I just don't see room for growth. Now, if he was 250 already, it would be a non issue. But the fact is he will be going up against NFL level OTs and can't run around all of them. He also can't expect to make a living getting coverage sacks. Von Miller is able to convert speed to power and that's one of the main qualities that puts him in the elite category. Derrick Thomas was another one at that small size that could covert speed to power. Trent Cole is much the same way. I have wondered whether or not this guy was on steroid based on what I've seen him do to NFL OTs. James Harrison routinely bullrushes successfully. Jones not only isn't as explosive as these guys, he weighs less than them and he is more slightly built than them. I am not saying he will be terrible by any stretch, but he is clearly at least a notch below them.

A lot the scouts feel Floyd can play any technique at the next level.

I don't see how Jarvis Jones' frame is maxed out. It might be because of his inability to stay in the weight room (because of his spinal issue), but his frame looks like it has space to add another 10 pounds.

I don't see this supposedly maxed body.
