I thought about a couple of corners in that spot, and did not like Banks because of his current lack of long speed. I also liked Williams hype at that pick in this post combine hype mock.
I am sure the real thing wont look like this.
With Williams likely gone, Woodyard is the WILL and Von is the SAM. We have Irving and Steven Johnson as candidates for the MIKE position, both of whom the coaches are said to be high on. IMO, they would have to blown away by a MIKE prospect to draft one high, especially in the 1st round.

Banks would be a pure value pick, as I think people are putting a little too much stock in his combine performance. I really have no problem with the Brandon Williams pick, as DT is our greatest need (again).

Thank you, I appreciate it! I completely overlooked Woodyard. I knew the coaches liked Irving, but clearly overlooked Woodyard. My first round post combine hype mock pick for the Bronco's is clearly a bad pick, I agree.

I agree with you on Banks, I had him as my #1 corner coming into the draft, and have him as my #4 now, but still like him alot in the right scheme, and with the Bronco's pass rush his abilities could shine. I stated this earlier about Banks: "In regards to Banks I do think he is a much better gamer than his measurables dictate, cant coach instincts, his knee was an issue last season and affected his play and IMO his combine, should not be an issue moving forward from what I have read/heard." I do worry about his long speed, but value wise would be a good pick, as I have him as a first rounder. I like Williams as a 3 down DT for them too.

Thanks again for the feedback!

I still have Allen as my #1 reciever, perfect fit for Minny IMO. Taylor IMO is very under rated, I have him as my 5th ranked corner, and border line first round value (currently ascending). I think his strengths in off man and zone coverage fit very well with what the Vikings do, good athlete with lose hips and reacts very well to whats in front of him, while being able to turn and run down field.

Throw in a DT like Jordan Hill in the 3rd and I'd be a happy mang.
I do as well, Warmack obviously fits well with the need/value scale, and enhances the ability of the current roster. Ziggy could easily be the pick IMO as well, wouldnt shock me either if he is gone. Okafor I have as a 2nd rounder with first round upside, I think he needs to work on his pass rush moves, which are really limited to a power bull rush and rip/swim type move right now. He is not a speed rusher, but uses his hands well and has room for growth as a power rusher.

Both are undervalued right now IMO, I thought it was a good oline/dline upgrade for the Boys with exceptional value in Warford who I think has first round caliber talent. I liked what he was able to do vs. Shariff Floyd who most have as a top 5 pick right now.

I found it interesting myself, I am sure in all reality Smith wont make it out of the first round, but he and Joeckel would allow Kelly to do alot of what he likes to do. Highly unlikely, but I agree it turned out interesting for the Eagles.

I like Jones alot, every time I watch him, I like him more. Carradine is interesting to me, I am not as high on him as most and am looking forward to his proday. I like the Jones to Indy fit alot.

I think my next one will be a What Would Poz51 Do? until FA and the pro days are close to over. Then Ill get back to what I think the teams will do from then on.
Dont know if you caught Path to the Draft last night, they did the Bronco's war room. Willie McGinest and Co had D.J. Williams moving inside or drafting Minter with Mays backing, I thought that segment was kind of an after thought, although they mentioned Hankins to Denver and T. Knighton as a FA possibility at DT, which I thought was interesting, particularly Knighton through FA. Any thoughts?
