Default **The Bow's Brand Spankin' New Pre-FA 4 Round Mocker!!!**

With first round comparisons and explanations! constructive criticism is always welcomed! And please let me know if I doubled up on any positions on accident. Enjoy! If you think I nailed the picks, throw some positive rep my way, if you didn't, deal with it. :)

Round 1:

1. Kansas City Chiefs - Star Lotulelei, Defensive Tackle, Utah
NFL Comparison: Haloti Ngata, Baltimore Ravens
(Dorsey is a FA and while Tyson Jackson was just re-signed, he's not the difference-maker they need on the line. This guy could be.)

2. Jacksonville Jaguars - Luke Joeckel, Offensive Tackle, Texas A&M
NFL Comparison: Michael Roos, Tennessee Titans
(If they are going to roll with Gabbert, they must keep him upright to have a chance. LT Monroe is also a free agent after the season.)

3. Oakland Raiders - Sharrif Floyd, Defensive Tackle, Florida
NFL Comparison: Randy Starks, Miami Dolphins
(The Raiders need help everywhere, but especially in the middle, where Seymour and Bryant are FA's and they got little from their pass rush last season.)

4. Philadelphia Eagles - Eric Fisher, Offensive Tackle, Central Michigan
NFL Comparison: Nate Solder, New England Patriots
(Peters is coming off injury, while Herremanns is probably at his best on the interior. An athletic tackle that fits what Kelly needs for his fast-paced offense.)

5. Detroit Lions - Dee Milliner, Cornerback, Alabama
NFL Comparison: Joe Haden, Cleveland Browns
(Detroit desperately needs to upgrade the corner position once and for all. The team could take a big step forward with an improved D.)

6. Cleveland Browns - Dion Jordan, Linebacker, Oregon
NFL Comparison: Julian Peterson, San Francisco 49ers (retired)
(With the switch to the 3-4, an athletic outside rusher is needed to complement Sheard on the other side. Could step in right away.)

7. Arizona Cardinals - Geno Smith, Quarterback, West Virginia
NFL Comparison: Jason Campbell, Chicago Bears
(Anyone that watches Arizona knows they need an upgrade at QB to at least give Fitzgerald & Co. a chance to make some plays.)

8. Buffalo Bills - Barkevious Mingo, Defensive End, Louisiana State
NFL Comparison: DeMarcus Ware, Dalas Cowboys
(Same as the Browns, eventually switching to a 3-4 under the new coach, so an outside rusher is needed. Less risk than Jarvis Jones.)

9. New York Jets - Ezekial Ansah, Defensive End, Brigham Young
NFL Comparison: Jason Pierre-Paul, New York Giants
(Theme of pass rush continues here has the Jets take the plunge on the raw, but athletic and talented BYU product.)

10. Tennessee Titans - Bjoern Werner, Defensive End, Florida State
NFL Comparison: Chris Long, St. Louis Rams
(Tennessee has gotten little out of former 1st rounder Morgan, Wimbley disappointed with only 6 sacks, and they have little depth beyond that to speak of.)

11. San Diego Chargers - Lane Johnson, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma
NFL Comparison: Eric Winston, Kansas City Chiefs
(They need to keep Rivers upright, and this guy has seen quite a rise in the last month or so.)

12. Miami Dolphins - Xavier Rhodes, Cornerback, Florida State
NFL Comparison: Patrick Peterson, Arizona Cardinals
(Will probably address WR need in FA, while the possible loss of Sean Smith opens need at CB. Rhodes is exactly the type of big corner this regime looks for.)

13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Alec Ogletree, Linebacker, Georgia
NFL Comparison: Thomas Davis, Carolina Panthers
(A little bit of a surprise, but he is very talented, and he allows Tampa to kick Foster outside and improve LB corps and defense as a whole.)

14. Carolina Panthers - Kenny Vaccaro, Safety, Texas
NFL Comparison: Mark Barron, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
(The secondary was so bad last year it cost them some games. They need a stabilizing presence back there so enter the top safety in the draft.)

15. New Orleans Saints - Jarvis Jones, Linebacker, Georgia
NFL Comparison: Bruce Irvin, Seattle Seahawks
(The free fall stops here as the Saints are another team in need of an outside pass rusher for their switch to the 3-4. They get arguably the top one here.)

16. St. Louis Rams - Cordarrelle Patterson, Wide Receiver, Tennessee
NFL Comparison: Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons
(If the Rams want Bradford to take the next step forward they need a true #1 for him to target. Cordarrelle definitely has the talent to be just that.)

17. Pittsburgh Steelers - Damontre Moore, Defensive End, Texas A&M
NFL Comparison: Kamerion Wimbley, Tennessee Titans
(Harrison is on his last legs in the Steel City. Moore should be higher, but his Combine #'s cause him to fall right into the lap of the eager Steelers.)

18. Dallas Cowboys - Jonathan Cooper, Offensive Guard, North Carolina
NFL Comparison: Mike Iupati, San Francisco 49ers
(Kind of a slam-dunk here. The Cowboys need to upgrade with more athletic lineman up front. Cooper is as athletic as they come for interior lineman.)

19. New York Giants - Cornellius Carradine, Defensive End, Florida State
NFL Comparison: Andre Carter, New England Patriots
(Maybe another surprise to some, but "Tank" was on his way to being a top 10 pick before suffering an ACL tear. The Giants will gamble on his talent.)

20. Chicago Bears - D.J. Fluker, Offensive Tackle, Alabama
NFL Comparison: Flozell Adams, Offensive Tackle (Dallas Cowboys - retired)
(Another slam-dunk as the Bears have struggled to keep Cutler upright for a couple years now. Fluker can step in and start at RT right away.)

21. Cincinnati Bengals - Eddie Lacy, Running Back, Alabama
NFL Comparison: Chris Ivory, New Orleans Saints
(The Law Firm was serviceable for Cincy last year, but an upgrade is needed for this offense to take the next level. Lacy is a complete, work-horse back.)

22. St. Louis Rams - Menelik Watson, Offensive Tackle, Florida State
NFL Comparison: Alex Barron, St. Louis Rams
(Another Seminole sneaking into the 1st. Watson is a uber-talented former JUCO basketball player that is ideal fit to be Bradford's blindside protector.)

23. Minnesota Vikings - Sheldon Richardson, Defensive Tackle, Missouri
NFL Comparison: Kevin Williams, Minnesota Vikings
(Minnesota's interior D-line is getting a little long in the tooth and an upgrade is needed. Richardson is a top-20 talent that should contribute quick.)

24. Indianapolis Colts - Chance Warmack, Offensive Guard, Alabama
NFL Comparison: Marshal Yanda, Baltimore Ravens
(Indy is elated to have a player of Warmack's caliber fall right into their laps to provide more protection for their franchise QB Luck.)

25. Seattle Seahawks - Manti Te'o, Linebacker, Notre Dame
NFL Comparison: Rey Maualuga, Cincinnati Bengals
(Carroll isn't afraid to take chances on players, and he is familiar with Te'o, having recruited him at USC so he knows what kind of character he brings.)

26. Green Bay Packers - Gio Bernard, Running Back, North Carolina
NFL Comparison: Knowshon Moreno, Denver Broncos
(Gio would be a perfect fit for the GB offense and would finally give them a respectable running game and make this offense even more scary.)

27. Houston Texans - Keenan Allen, Wide Receiver, California
NFL Comparison: Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts
(The Texans have been searching for a legit #2 WR to complement Andre for a long time. Pairing these two up could be real bad fordefenses.)

28. Denver Broncos - Desmond Trufant, Cornerback, Washington
NFL Comparison: Marcus Trufant, Seattle Seahawks
(Trufant could go much earlier than this, but he is a nice fit in Denver as an eventual replacement for Bailey and after Porter disappointed last year.)

29. Atlanta Falcons - Tyler Eifert, Tight End, Notre Dame
NFL Comparison: Jimmy Graham, New Orleans Saints
(Gonzalez will probably return. But as insurance, Atlanta drafts Eifert, who will make this offense really scary and eventually replace the HOF'er.)

30. New England Patriots - Tavon Austin, Wide Receiver, West Virginia
NFL Comparison: Percy Harvin, Minnesota Vikings
(If Welker walks, this would be a best-case-scenario for the Pats, as Austin's best fit is as a dynamic slot guy that NE can move around and scare defenses.)

31. San Francisco 49ers - Johnathon Hankins, Defensive Tackle, Ohio State
NFL Comparison: Marcell Dareus, Buffalo Bills
(Sopoaga is a FA, as is Jean-Francois, so a NT of the present and future is needed, as well as the line depth as Justin Smith's age becomes more of a factor.)

32. Baltimore Ravens - Kevin Minter, Linebacker, Louisiana State
NFL Comparison: Jonathan Vilma, New Orleans Saints

(Kind of an obvious pick here as the athletic, intelligent Minter can step in a replace the legend Ray Lewis in the middle. Ellerbe also could sign elsewhere.)

Round 2:

33. Jacksonville Jaguars - Matt Barkley, Quarterback, Southern California

34. San Francisco 49ers - Zach Ertz, Tight End, Stanford

35. Philadelphia Eagles - E.J. Manuel, Quarterback, Florida State

36. Detroit Lions - Datone Jones, Defensive End, UCLA

37. Cincinnati Bengals - Johnthan Banks, Cornerback, Mississippi State

38. Arizona Cardinals - Terron Armstead, Offensive Tackle, Arkansas-Pine Bluff

39. New York Jets - Mike Glennon, Quarterback, North Carolina State

40. Tennessee Titans - Knile Davis, Running Back, Arkansas

41. Buffalo Bills - Ryan Nassib, Quarterback, Syracuse

42. Miami Dolphins - Sam Montgomery, Defensive End, Louisiana State

43. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Gavin Escobar, Tight End, San Diego State

44. Carolina Panthers - Justin Hunter, Wide Receiver, Tennessee

45. San Diego Chargers - David Amerson, Cornerback, North Carolina State

46. St. Louis Rams - Matt Elam, Safety, Florida

47. Dallas Cowboys - Kawann Short, Defensive Tackle, Purdue

48. Pittsburgh Steelers - John Jenkins, Defensive Tackle, Georgia

49. New York Giants - Dallas Thomas, Offensive Tackle, Tennessee

50. Chicago Bears - Barrett Jones - Offensive Lineman, Alabama

51. Washington Redskins -
Jonathan Cyprien, Safety, Florida International

52. Minnesota Vikings - DeAndre Hopkins, Wide Receiver, Clemson

53. Cincinnati Bengals - Jamie Collins, Linebacker, Southern Mississippi

54. Miami Dolphins - Ryan Swope, Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

55. Green Bay Packers - Kyle Long, Offensive Tackle, Oregon

56. Seattle Seahawks - Robert Woods, Wide Receiver, Southern California

57. Houston Texans - Arthur Brown, Linebacker, Kansas State

58. Denver Broncos - Le'Veon Bell, Running Back, Michigan State

59. New England Patriots - Blidi Wreh-Wilson, Cornerback, Connecticut

60. Atlanta Falcons - Alex Okafor, Defensive End, Texas

61. San Francisco 49ers -
Eric Reid, Safety, Louisiana State

62. Baltimore Ravens - Jesse Williams, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

Round 3:

63. Kansas City Chiefs - Jordan Poyer, Cornerback, Oregon State

64. Jacksonville Jaguars - Sylvester Williams, Defensive Tackle, North Carolina

65. Detroit Lions - Marcus Wheaton, Wide Receiver, Oregon State

66. Oakland Raiders - Darius Slay, Cornerback, Mississippi State

67. Philadelphia Eagles - Brandon Williams, Defensive Tackle, Missouri Southern State

68. Cleveland Browns - Terrance Williams, Wide Receiver, Baylor

69. Arizona Cardinals - Michael Buchanan, Linebacker, Illinois

70. Tennessee Titans - Travis Frederick, Offensive Center, Wisconsin

71. Buffalo Bills - Da'Rick Rogers, Wide Receiver, Tennessee

72. New York Jets - Quinton Patton, Wide Receiver, Louisiana Tech

73. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Logan Ryan, Cornerback, Rutgers

74. San Francisco 49ers - Jamar Taylor, Cornerback, Boise State

75. New Orleans Saints - Nico Johnson, Linebacker, Alabama

76. San Diego Chargers - Brandon Jenkins, Defensive End, Florida State

77. Miami Dolphins - Travis Kelce, Tight End, Cincinnati

78. St. Louis Rams - Larry Warford, Offensive Guard, Kentucky

79. Pittsburgh Steelers - Jordan Reed, Tight End, Florida

80. Dallas Cowboys - Bacarri Rambo, Safety, Georgia

81. New York Giants - Khaseem Greene, Linebacker, Rutgers

82. Miami Dolphins - Marcus Lattimore, Running Back, South Carolina

83. Minnesota Vikings - Tyrann Matheiu, Cornerback, Louisiana State

84. Cincinnati Bengals - William Gholston, Defensive End, Michigan State

85. Washington Redskins -
Brennan Williams, Offensive Tackle, North Carolina

86. Indianapolis Colts - Margus Hunt, Defensive End, Sourthern Methodist

87. Seattle Seahawks - Bennie Logan, Defensive Tackle, Louisiana State

88. Green Bay Packers - D.J. Swearinger, Safety, South Carolina

89. Houston Texans - Tyler Wilson, Quarterback, Arkansas

90. Denver Broncos - Devin Taylor, Defensive End, South Carolina

91. New England Patriots -
Jordan Mills, Offensive Tackle, Louisiana Tech

92. Atlanta Falcons - Montee Ball, Running Back, Wisconsin

93. San Francisco 49ers - Stedman Bailey, Wide Receiver, West Virginia

94. Baltimore Ravens - Oday Aboushi, Offensive Tackle, Virginia

Round 4:

95. Jacksonville Jaguars - Robert Alford, Cornerback, Southeast Missouri State

96. Kansas City Chiefs - Kevin Reddick, Linebacker, North Carolina

97. Oakland Raiders - Tyler Bray, Quarterback, Tennessee

98. Philadelphia Eagles - Phillip Thomas, Safety, Fresno State

99. Minnesota Vikings - Landry Jones, Quarterback, Oklahoma

100. Arizona Cardinals - Stepfan Taylor, Running Back, Stanford

101. Cleveland Browns -
Alvin Bailey, Offensive Guard, Arkansas

102. Buffalo Bills - Vance McDonald, Tight End, Rice

103. New York Jets - Jawan Jamison, Running Back, Rutgers

104. Tennessee Titans - Logan Ryan, Cornerback, Rutgers

105. Carolina Panthers - Kwame Geathers, Defensive Tackle, Georgia

106. New Orleans Saints - Marquise Goodwin, Wide Receiver, Texas

I like the Swearing and Alonso selections for Green Bay. A running back in the first round is poor value and Kyle Long wouldn't have a position on the team's offensive line even though I like him as a prospect.

Chance Warmack at 24 would be stupid awesome. Hunt is fine in the 3rd. I would take Lemonier or Shamarko in the 4th over a RB. I highly doubt we will have the opportunity to take Warmack. But that would be awesome.

Mingo, Nassib and McDonald all make sense for various reasons. Rogers while a perfect fit for what they want at WR and as talented as he is, has off the field issues that historically Buddy Nix just does not draft and I wonder if he would even be on thier board. When Nix came in, they swept all the off the field issues out the door. Drug issues, coaching issues, violating team rule issues and maturity issues in general, IMO the Bills front office just prefers to pass on lately. Has he matured like he says so? IDK, but Tenn. Tech coaches from what I have read, have some doubt.
Patton, J. Taylor, R. Logan, Greene, Bailey and P. Thomas all make more sense to me at this point.

I'd probably go Tyler Wilson in the third, but I like Star and Riddick so yay.

I'd give the Skins draft a D. Don't like Reid at all or his fit in our defense. Need a RT not a guard. The 4th is a reach on Fauria.

Ok, changed a couple things around for ya. Let me know what ya think now. I kept Fauria, because I actually think that's a solid value at the end of the 4th.

I like Cyprien more than Reid certainly, although still slightly overrated, but I still am not crazy about taking a SS in the 2nd round over a CB especially given the depth at SS this year. I tend to value FS more than SS guys that seem a little easier to find. I'm hoping we address FS in FA though as our top priority. At this point though I think BPA at any DB spot is the way to go and I'd put several of the CBs over Cyprien personally. Even if you like Fauria's value in the 4th it surely isn't better than Shamarkos. If we passed on Shamarko in the 4th I might drink myself stupid.

Warmack won't fall to 24. But if he did somehow and the Bears passed on him, I'd be mad pissed. So give us Warmack in the 1st and Brown in the 2nd.

Good draft for the Vikes. I would MUCH rather have Logan Ryan than Honey Badger or Landry Jones though. Ditch the Badger, draft Ryan, ditch Jones, draft a linebacker.

I just thought someone would take a shot at Mathieu on the 2nd day, and you guys were as good a bet as any with your need at CB. Just my two pennies.

I'd rather have Ansah or Jordan to be honest. Floyd just screams and shouts bust to me. But any defensive help is what we need badly.

Meh.
Id rather take Warmack in 1.
Don't see us taking a CB before a S.
Do not like the Gholston pick at all.

I could potentially see them taking Mathieu, but I would also prefer Ryan. My biggest complaint with the Vikings picks is no LB. The Vikings could potentially need two starters at LB depending on what happens with free agency, so I would be rather pissed if they made it out of the first four rounds without taking one if they let Henderson and/or Brinkley leave.

Buc's won't take a guy with Ogletree's history at 13. Also you gave the Jets one of our 4th round picks.

Outstanding draft for the Colts.

Only thing is I would like them to trade up a few spots in the 4th to get SS Shemarko Thomas to sure up their secondary instead of a RB.

The Bengals will have to take a tackle before the 4th Round if Andre Smith leaves.

Bow I think you are on the right track. Hankins is the right position but I don't see the Niners taking a one dimensional NT with their first round pick. I think they will be looking more for a guy like Short or Jesse Williams that can contribute on multiple positions (ICE only played 30% of the snaps last year). All the other picks are great no complaints.
