Feel like so far I've done pretty well at getting legitimate competition for positions that need it.
1st Rd - Kawann Short, DT - Purdue
2nd Rd - Johnthan Banks, CB - Mississippi State
3rd Rd - Denard Robinson, WR - Michigan
4th Rd - Nick Kasa, TE - Colorado
5th Rd - Phillip Steward, LB - Houston
6th Rd - Manase Foketi, OL - West Texas A&M
7th Rd - (______)
7th Rd - (______)
7th Rd - (______)
7th Rd - (______)
Big 7th round coming up. I'm going to get a jump on all the best UDFA types. :-D

I looooveeeee Lonnie Pryor. I would have taken him in the 5th round if I thought anyone else was a threat. He'll be a 10 year player as a RB/FB and Special Teams player.

Nice job, really liked your aggressiveness in terms of trading around for prospects.

Texans draft
1. Menelik Watson, OT
2. Traded for Percy Harvin
3a. Traded for Percy Harvin
3b. John Simon, OLB
4. Tyler Bray, QB
5. Kenjon Barner, RB
6a. Zeke Motta, S
6b. Joe Kruger, DE
Still have a late 7th rounder to go
I'm ok with this draft. After the Harvin trade I didn't have any ammo to move up for anyone after taking Watson in the first. I think Simon is a nice value in the late 3rd and Bray has QB of the future potential. Barner won't be asked to start or carry the ball a lot but offers good depth, as does Motta and Kruger.

I pretty much picked Smith because both the Pats and Packers met with him at the combine, so he must be good.
