You probably don't want to go down that road.

Really ******* stupid move. They had an All-Pro level RT signed to a super team friendly contract and they cut him out of the blue. I guess it isn't an Andy Reid team without an OL in disarray...
That OL was going to be set for the rest of Winston's contract (which would have ended right before we'd historically start seeing a decline). People say what they want about Pioli, but that signing was a ******* masterpiece. Winston basically gave KC a hometown discount because he liked it here so much. Other teams were prepared to pay him significantly more.

So, Chiefs fans. Was Winston good last year or not? I see on PFT a lot of fans are saying good riddance. Is this just homer BS?

He had a down year, but was still one of the best RTs in the NFL. It wasn't that he was bad, I think every bad play he made just really stood out for some reason.
He wasn't super great in pass pro, but who knows why that was. The Chiefs had absolutely awful offensive scheme/gameplanning last year.
Also, people on PFT are ultra-********.
Seems really dumb to cut a top RT in the NFL and a team leader to boot.

This is what was so shocking. Even if he wasn't a top 5 RT in the league, he was a good solid starter on an affordable contract, considering there was basically no cap relief by cutting him, and they didn't even try to trade him for a 6th round pick, it's baffling.

Hopefully, Winston is COMING HOME TO H-TOWN! I hated that we couldn't afford to resign him last year.

He's comin' back to South Beach baby! ;)
BTW, Andy Reid has no idea what he's doing anymore. Been the most overrated coach since I can remember. This proves it. Guy is senile now.

Maybe the Raiders paid Andy Reid to accept the Chiefs job and just completely **** them over?

The last few years have certainly resulted in train wrecks for Philly and he looks to be starting off with more of the same in KC.

The guy is psycho and, usually, wrong about linemen needing to be giant, ******** ogres...which completely goes against his pass-happy offense.

Would you say that's more on the OC, HC, QB or the OL coach?

Do not bash Andy Reid. He is a wonderful man and an excellent trade master. You all should speak no evil of him.
