Steelers:

Nic Embernate G: Dude is nasty and the Steelers need depth along the OL in the worst way. I think he could be the next Ramon Foster and be a solid starter for us.

Joe Madden C: We have no one to back up Pouncey and I do not want Legursky back.

Reggie Dunn WR: Man, this kid can fly. He'll be strictly a return specialist, but dammit he might be an exciting one.

Luke Ingram LS: A cheaper, younger option at LS for the Steelers.

Deveron Carr CB Arizona State - 6'0 187 Ran a 4.36 40 PAC 12 Honorable mention.

I know pretty much zilch about him besides his measuables but the Bucs gave him one of the highest signing bonuses for UDFA's this year, good chance he sticks considering our CB depth.

Bears have a few candidates:

Michael Ford, RB, LSU - A long shot, but the Bears could use a speed option at RB and Armando Allen doesn't quite fit the bill, though I'm not sure Ford can catch and block well enough to beat him out.

Mark Harrison, WR, Rutgers - Behind Marshall, Jeffery, and Bennett, the remaining Bears WR corps is up for grabs. There's probably room for Harrison AND 7th round pick Marquess Wilson if they both show something in preseason, though it might come down to one or the other.

PJ Lonergan, C, LSU - There isn't a true center on the Bears' roster, and they've obviously been overhauling the line this offseason, so wouldn't be a stretch to see Lonergan stick behind Garza.

Brent Russell, DT, Georgia Southern/Zach MInter, DT, Montana State - Most Bears fans were surprised they didn't spend a pick at DT. I would hope whichever of these two smaller school players shows the most in TC could beat out Andre Fluellen.

For the Saints, Tulane QB, Ryan Griffin, and Chase Thomas, OLB from Stanford.

For Seattle:

This is the first year we've not been able to get a good UDFA crop. I think it's a byproduct of the depth and youth on the team. There isn't the opportunity here like there is elsewhere.

I figured that Jacksonville would kill the UDFA market, as Gus is an outstanding/commanding figure and he's well versed in Carroll's culture of competition. He knows how to sell his program in such a way that when he talks about competition, it's not in a contrived, 'rah-rah', or abstract concept kind of way. When he talks about it, prospects are going to feel it. They will believe it.

That team is going to buy in. And they'll buy in HARD. I'd be very excited as a Jags fan. It's going to take some time. But you're going to see that team grow before your eyes. And grow in the right way. Not the NY Jets kind of way.

Honestly, I don't see any of Seattle's UDFA's making the final cuts. Alvin Bailey might make the practice squad and could surprise and make the team. We have a glut of development OGs however. For him to do that, he'd need to just be a ridiculous surprise as a viable starter.

I'm not even sure how many will come back to the practice squad. Seems we're pretty stacked there too. Might stash a few guys on IR though.

Chad Bumphis signed with my Phins. Think he has a real shot to fill in for Bess and make the 53.

Nakamura isn't expected to be starting...

Quote:
Panthers coach Ron Rivera expects Mike Mitchell and D.J. Campbell to compete at strong safety.
Haruki Nakamura isn't in the mix after his disastrous 2012. Charles Godfrey will start at free safety. Mitchell is a run-stopping specialist. He started just eight games in four years with the Raiders. A 2012 seventh-rounder, Campbell played 252 snaps on defense as a rookie. On paper — and likely in practice — the Panthers have one of the league's worst secondaries.

lol I promise I didn't say that for a Welker comparison. I said that because everytime I saw Moe in action, he was finding soft spots in opposing defenses and just getting open. Players like him will excel with Brady and that offense.
