Yeah and the Orlando Magic started the season 12-13 only to finish the season 20-62. I know what it's like for a team to lose their 1 superstar. At first guys are trying to step up, but eventually it all falls apart. There is no sustainability in the Knicks w/out Melo.

For Lebron to not get 1 more vote because of Melo... it's not about Melo being better than Lebron. It's more about wanting a message to be sent.

...and that message is "Lebron creating a super power team doesn't deserve a ton of credit". That is Lebron's legacy. His rings are hollow rings. Had he stayed in CLE and won, he would've easily surpassed Michael. Now, many people don't care. Sure, a lot do, but a lot don't either. It's polarizing.

I hate this romanticized crap so much.

There is no such thing as a hollow ring.

Figuring out how good a team would be without the player is unfair to the player. It shouldn't matter how good the GM did with the roster or how good of a coach they have. By using that logic, Paul or Durant probably deserve it over James. The Heat would still be the best team in the East if James were never on the team.

Sounds like approximately 1 out of 121 people care.

Except Cleveland is an inept and terrible organization who would have never gotten him any help so he would never get any rings, unlike Jordan and the Bulls.

And his ring and/or rings will not be hollow. He's carried that team on his back.

I think more people are becoming less understanding. Especially as more retired NBA players speak out saying he needs to play. Shaq, Barkley,Kerr,Miller etc.

It doesn't help that Noah is going all out on 1 foot and Deng is desperately trying to get out of the hospital so he can play.

I thought Lebron ok'ed every move made by the team. He was basically the GM.

Oh wait.. maybe he's closer to Jordan than I thought. :)

As a Chicago sports fan I have tried to be understanding all year. I figured this season/his season was a bust. With the team battling injuries, the guys working as hard as they have to get this far? Pretty impressive. For how competitive Rose is, I am definitely frustrated with the fact that he is at 95% and won't go out while everyone else is playing at 70% and going balls out every night.

Do I want him back in? Not unless he feels right, I'd rather him not risk injury. Do I think he should have come back earlier? Yes. The team is in a good position and while he may have worked hard, so did his teammates. He let his team down IMO.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing when you look at the quality of big men in the 1990s. It's one of the reasons I think Olajuwon needs to be further elevated when discussing the all-time greats. In an era with arguably the best big men talent ever, he was the best of the bunch.

Heat came out slow...as expected...always against the Bulls...

If I see Birdman take another 20 footer for rest of game, I'll snap.

The Dream doesn't get near the amount of respect as he should in my opinion. Hakeem was the truth.
