1993-1994 Dikembe Mutombo

Stats
Regular season: 12.0 PPG, 11.8 RPG, 1.5 APG, 4.1 BPG
Playoffs: 13.3 PPG, 12.0 RPG, 1.8 APG, 5.8 BPG

I wanted a defensive back-up center, and I got one of the best defensive big men of all time. What he was able to accomplish with this Denver team is amazing, and getting them past the Sonics was awesome. Shawn Kemp played like dogshit for a reason after all. The man was an absolute tank in the paint, blocking shots at a ridiculous rate, which includes having the most blocks in the postseason amongst guys who played at least two series. Adding a dominant defensive big who is perfectly competent (not elite, but competent works nonetheless) is an excellent choice for behind Admiral. Hell, a small lineup with Garnett at SF and Admiral/Dikembe at the two big spots is entirely possible.

Amare Stoudemire 2007-2008

The year Amare teamed up with Steve Nash and they had one of the best pick and roll games in the league at that time. Pick and rolls that were compared to Stockton's and Malone's. Now a pick and roll game with Stockton and a freak athlete with Amare would be something to see.

2005-2006 Chauncey Billups

Stats
Regular season: 18.5 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 8.5 APG, league leader in assist to turnover ratio, 60% TS
Playoffs: 17.9 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 6.5 APG, 1.2 SPG, 58% TS

Chauncey was coming off of two consecutive trips to the finals (and what probably would have been two straight finals MVPs if not for Robert Horry), but here he had his best season to date. He was an amazing passer, leading the league in assist to turnover ratio (something Chris Paul also did). He was a terrific shooter, having over a 60% in the true shooting category. He was a big part of a Pistons D that finished third in the league. And he was damn good in the playoffs as per usual, even if the Pistons themselves weren't enough to make it as far as they had the past two years. Combine his efficiency off the bench with one of the greatest defenders ever in Dikembe, and an incredibly versatile Matrix, you get a very diverse and effective bench to compliment a team that fits together perfectly.

1972-73 Tiny Archibald

Accomplishments

1st Team All-NBA
All Star
League Leader in Total Points, Assists, and Free Throws
NBA Scoring Champion (34.0 PPG)
NBA Assist Leader (11.4 APG)
Only player in NBA History to lead the league in Points & Assists per game

Stats

[Regular Season] 34.0 PPG (.488 FG/.555 TS%) 2.4 RPG 11.4 AST | 25.2 PER

The only player in NBA history ever to lead the league in both points and assists. I'm not sure another player has come close to achieving this since. His team was garbage so he had the entire offensive burden every night. A player who grew up as a street baller in NYC, he was super athletic, super quick PG who can get to the rim and get to the foul line (9.8 FTA's/.847%). Was regarded as a quality outside shooter as well. As a backup point guard, he will be a sparkplug off the bench and can jump-start the off with his ability to attack and his ability to create for others.
