It's funny often the leagues where I know people turns out to be my best teams. It's often because people reach for players they specifically like rather than the best players on the board.

If there's two Giants fans, Cruz may go round 1. I had a friend take Antonio Gates (when he was good) #1 overall. Just crazy stuff happens

I was contemplating Charles or Spiller... might not have to anymore.

Alan Shope @AlanKCTV5

Jamaal Charles just left the field in a golf cart not sure what that was about, didn't look injured.

TJ Carpenter ?@TJCarpenterWHB 12m
This is speculation, coach will have answers after practice, but it appears Jamaal Charles rolled his ankle. Will have more soon. #Chiefs

The press conference said sprained foot, X-Rays negative so its sounds like he's alright.

I like Spiller best. In PPR I'd seriously consider taking him #1 overall. I was a little concerned about Fred until the new regime was quoted saying they'll run CJ until he pukes.

12-man keeper league .5 ppr with a flex. Everyone keeps 2 keepers.

I have the first overall pick. Which means I have the 24th and 25th pick in the 2nd and 3rd round.

Keep 2:

Julio Jones @ pick No. 24 (last pick of the 2nd round)
Torrey Smith in the 6th (last pick of that round)
RGIII in the 8th
Russell Wilson in the 10th

My philosophy is to always wait on QBs. I don't really care about QBs at all.

I joined one of the MyFantasyLeague.com "10s" leagues. $10 for the team and winner takes $100. Not bad, considering most FF sites gouge the crap out of people and don't payout anywhere near 80%. Anywho . . .

Below is the result. I went RB/RB/RB and grabbed Gronk in the 4th (4.04 b/c Id din't think he'd fall to 5.09) and RGIII in the 7th. Starting 3 WR will be tough. Nicks / Jackson / Tate are solid but Nicks isn't reliable, Jackson isn't a great PPR option (better with Maclin out) and the WR3 spot requires a breakout season from one of the other guys on my roster. I don't mind that trade off to have Lynch / CJ2?K / DMC starting together every week in PPR. Sudfield will be the top candidate for drop but is insurance for now w/Gronk expected to miss all of preseason and possibly a game or two.

Starting lineup is QB RB RB WR WR WR TE FLEX(R/W/T) K DST

PPR scoring

Griffin III, Robert WAS QB (Q)
Vick, Michael PHI QB

Lynch, Marshawn SEA RB
Johnson, Chris TEN RB
McFadden, Darren OAK RB
Ingram, Mark NOS RB
Woodhead, Danny SDC RB (P)

Nicks, Hakeem NYG WR (P)
Jackson, DeSean PHI WR
Tate, Golden SEA WR
Little, Greg CLE WR
Dobson, Aaron NEP WR
Woods, Robert BUF WR

Gronkowski, Rob NEP TE (O)
Sudfeld, Zach NEP TE

Bears, Chicago CHI Def

Charles might have to come off the board if this is a true mid-foot sprain when the MRI results are revealed.

Julio is still a decent value with a bunch of players being kept. I'm not sure I see Wilson as a great QB1 candidate. He will be a decent start and keep pace due to his running ability but he's not going to suddenly have a passing offense. RGIII, on the other hand, was on pace to be the top scorer in fantasy last year. He isn't expected to play any preseason games so his value is deflated. You may be able to draft him in round 7 or 8 (I doubt any later) but he may also see his value jump as he gets more and more reps during practice. People just aren't sure he can do everything but it sounds like he's frustrated with the team holding him back.

Julio at the end of round 2 and RGIII at the end of round 8 are the better options. The upside on each destroys the upside of Smith and Wilson.

Yes. I honestly think Spiller has a great shot at #1 overall in any scoring format. In PPR he is looking at a floor of 40 catches. Add to that the fact that Peterson is not likely to hit 2k in back to back seasons.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on SportsCenter Monday the Chiefs are "privately" concerned about Jamaal Charles' strained right foot.
Per Schefter, the Chiefs are "hoping for the best but bracing for the worst." Charles will likely undergo a Monday MRI to determine the full extent. X-rays confirmed Charles avoided a fracture, but a mid-foot sprain could cost him a lot of time. The full damage has yet to be formally revealed.

Damn this sucks. I was gonna draft knile Davis with one of my last picks in my other money league. Now everyone is probably reading up on the chiefs backups and will snag him earlier.

Is the 7th round a reach for Jared Cook?

Yes. His ADP is in the 90s or higher. He went in round 9 of a 12 team PPR (posted the team a few posts back) and has a 100+ ADP on most sites. Unless your league is full of homers, wait longer.

will comment on the team in a moment, but Yahoo has pay-out leagues that give money to the top 3 but there is very little money kept by the host. there are 3 levels - $10, $100, $250 where they keep just 10%

Problem with those yahoo leagues are that they're 10 teamwrs (bleh) and no flex. Stupid.

Knile Davis is horrible. It's so funny that his name is circulating today. He's as soft as anything and can't protect the football.

how many players? maybe i glossed over that, but it seems like this has to be 12+ and i'm guessing you picked top 5. in any event, your runningbacks are lethal for anything 12 and up, especially in PPR. I love Sudfeld as a sleeper and is a great 'handcuff' for Gronk. Bears D is Bears D. qb's.. I don't love them but RG3 is obviously great if healthy. think you should have grabbed a more secure backup like Palmer or Bradford but in any event you did pretty well. love your late round receivers and Woodhead is a sneaky good pick in PPR

If there's any real effects on Charles, I'd take a look at Gray to be honest

Anyone here play dynasty leagues? I'm drafting in 2 at the moment and I'm wondering if round 14 is too early to take a flier on Zach Sudfeld. Best availables at this point is like Hartline, Hankerson, Quick, Streater, Pead, etc.
