It's really strange. If you're going to struggle, you might as well throw Browne in there and see what he can do. Kessler and Wittek are setting the bar awfully low anyway. Even if Browne isn't ready quite yet, it's not like he can afford to wait around. Stashing him for an extra year of eligibility won't do you any good with the position he's in. Much easier sell to try to keep your job if Browne starts playing well at the end of the year.
