I feel bad for romo, I know its a reoccurring theme but he was incredible today till that point he actually out played perhaps the greatest QB ever. He escapes the clutches of the defense on many occasions but just can't escape that late game mistake.

the defense making a play late like the broncos d would help too. but its not like he threw it right at the guy and it should been have penalty b/c the dude grabbed escobar going across the middle otherwise he wouldn't had a chance to pick it off. but hey the breaks of the game. we proved we the ability to beat the best team in the league, now we gotta stop losing to teams we should beat like KC and SD and washington coming up next week

Yeah even in defeat we found out if we are on we can stand toe to toe with the best in the league but as you mentioned we now have to beat the teams we should. Want to see more of what we saw today from our offense on a more consistent basis.

Not minding Williams and Beasley filling his spot though... Would rather have more unique parts when we're spreading it out.

The key is to build on this offensive momentum and not put shackles on the team like we normally do. This defense is what it is, the key is to get the occasional turnover, and put the offense in high gear. Outscore people, that can get us to 10 wins. We're not going to win the Super Bowl, but we can win this pathetic division, and not on the last week of the season.

Really pleased the way the secondary played regardless of what the scoreboard reads. For the most part we eliminated D Thomas and Welker forcing Manning to check down. Also, think Mo deserves a personal bump for his best performance of the season. Played a good amount of bump and run, looked good doing it. Manning challenged him several times and he always looked to be in decent position. Even on the TD throw Claiborne was there to make a play, Manning just through a perfect back shoulder pass and Decker made a great grab.

Side note: We need to get Dez locked down long term. Outside of Megatron he his the best WR in the league. We are going to need to have him and use the continued growth along the Oline for the building blocks beyond the Romo Era.

The single most over-rated position in sports - WR.

Great idea, Jerrah, 15 years and $150MM.

"So you leave this game and obviously you are crushed and disappointed," said Witten, who had 121 yards receiving and a touchdown. "Offensively, this needs to be the standard by which we play."

please callahan no more dink and dunk

This is exactly right and why I was so pissed with the dink and dunk offense we saw early in the season. Today looked like the offense I was looking forward to coming into the year. Nice usage of our new additions in T-Will and Escobar. The team looked really dynamic offensively. I'll say this... it looked like the offense Garrett used to call. Heavy pass, more of that Zampese vertical attack and of course ignoring the run as much as you can.

Maybe Garrett took over the offense and that's why we made knucklehead HC mistakes again.

It seemed like we understood what this game required of us on offense. We knew that we were going to have to scrap the run a little bit and aim for 35+ points cause the defense was gonna offer little resistance. Honesty that should be the concept going forward for this team - played right with the best team in the league.

Proud of the OL today. They did a great job in giving Romo time. Big weakness going into the offseason appears resolved.

The defense on the other hand... So far it doesn't appear that the Kiffin hire has made a difference. So when are we going to start looking like the Seattle defense again???
