So which defense has played the Broncos the best? Is there one that is even worth singling out? The Raiders "only" allowed them 37 points in Denver, but did Manning and company just take their foot of the gas?

I am trying to think of how other AFC contenders (like Indy) might go about stopping or at least slowing down this offense. Dropping into coverage won't work, with enough time Manning will find your mistake before you force him to make one. And he's lethal against the blitz, he almost always sees it coming. Rushing 4 effectively sounds nice but how many defenses can do this for an entire game?

Many teams have attempted to just keep the ball away from Manning with a ball control offensive gameplan. The Broncos are ranked at the top vs. the run, only allowing 69.6 YPG (1st) and 3.3 YPC (3rd). But how representative of the defense's ability is that? I assume the opposing offense gives up on running the ball pretty quickly.
