Out of the past 14 1st round draft picks we have had, i was shocked to realize more than half should be considered 'busts'.
Jarrod Bunch- Bust
Derek Brown- Bust
Thomas Lewis- Bust
Tyrone Wheatley- Bust
Cedric Jones- Bust (One of the biggest of all time)
Ike Hilliard- I would not call a bust. He was a valuable contributer for a long time.
Shaun Williams- He was a good player for a while, couldnt stay healthy, lost his job to a rookie in Gibril Wilson
Luke Pettigout- Solid player, not as good as we thought he would be but he was good
Ron Dayne- Bust
Will Allen- Not a complete bust but was never really that great
Jeremy Shockey- great player
William Joseph- Bust
Philip Rivers- was traded for eli who in my opinion is not a bust
Matthias Kiwanuka- not a bust and hell b a very good player

We obviously do not know how to pick 1st rounders. More than half of these are busts. Whose to blame? Ernie Accorsi? Management?
Hopefully Jerry Reese can fix this

now THIS makes me sad. :( i dont think it's all EA's fault, he's made some good moves, and latter round steals. i think we all are anxious to see what reese does on his 1st draft day as head honcho!

I haven't been around that long. My football knowledge goes back only 3 or 4 years.

thats why i want to trade down to the 32nd and get another 2nd rounder.... if thats possible.

1st round ....thats were the SUPERstars are found
2nd round... thats were the probowlers are made

2nd round....
06- Sinorice Moss - too hurt to tell what he can do
05- Corey Webster - okkkk 2nd round is looking that good haha (potential)
04- Chris Snee - good pick
03- Osi Umenyiora - great pick
02- Tim Carter- never panned out... but Dreughns is on our team now
01- No pick
00- Cornelius Griffin.... was a beast til he left for a big contract

so i say its about 50-50.... pretty much the same caliber players

You forgot to mention George using 1993's 1st for Dave Brown. What year did Accorsi take over? 1998? So Youngs last draft was the Hilliard one?
