Default Giants Fans Predictions.

Every year we have a sleeper who comes in to the league and blows up, then after everyone and their mother was high on them. The obvious one is Marques Colston last year.

What you can do in this thread is list players you are high and low on. Players you want the Giants to draft and players you don't want the Giants to draft.

Later we can either give each other props, or insult each other for saying Tyler Palko will be the best QB in this draft =D

Just for some fun, just because someone ends up making a bad pick doesn't mean they have no football knowledge.

I'll start us off
Players I want the Giants to draft:
Brandon Meriweather S
Eric Wright CB
Tim Shaw OLB
Ramonce Taylor RB
Yamon Figurs WR (You got me #10)
Reggie Nelson S
Marcus McCauley CB
Dallas Baker WR

Players I want to avoid:
Paul Posluszny OLB
Chris Henry RB
Anthony Gozalaz WR
Aaron Ross WR
Mason Crosby K

Edit: I added a few I forgot, try not to edit after the draft though, up untill is fine

Theres too many names to list.

I'll list some, if I list all of em Ill damn near name half the draft class.

Guys I like that some dont agree with (guys in general, not necessarily for our team):

Poz
Nelson
Weddle
Houston
McCauley
Darius Walker
Mike Walker
Wolffe
Ramonce Taylor
Tyrone Moss
Carriker
Branch
Gonzalez
Hughes
Tanard Jackson
Marvin White
Kyle Young
Spencer
Moses
Walter Thomas
Victor Abriamiri
Stewart Bradley
John Beck
Marshawn Lynch

Ok, I better stop before I name everybody.

Guys I don't like:

Michael Griffin
Ted Ginn
Joe Thomas
JaMarcus Russell
Michael Bush
Joe Staley
Brian Leonard
Merril Olsen
Leon Hall
All qbs not named Quinn or Beck
Lamar Woodley
Most DTs in this draft

Thats all I can think of right now without getting overboard, if not already overboard.

I'd just like to avoid Ginn and Merriweather with the 20th pick. In the later rounds I'd avoid Romance Taylor like the plague.

Revis is still my number on choice. Has been for the last 2-3 weeks. I don't see the changing by tomorrrow. For LB Timmons has been my number one choice for a while but everything I read about Beason as for as his character and leadership really excites me. And I don't want to avoid Puz like most. I'd be satisfied with that pick as long as certain people are gone.

Staley or Timmons will most likely be the Giants 1st round pick.

Ramonce can be a nice special teamer and for a late round gamble, why not? I actually like Merriweather. Some people have him neck and neck with Nelson, although I disagree with that statement.

From the papers, it seems like if Levi Brown is on the board, we're all but guaranteed to get him. Im not sure if you read the Daily News yesterday, but according to them, if he's on the board, expect Levi in giant blue. I wouldn't mind the pick to be honest.

I don't think Levi will be around so that shouldn't be an issue.

As for Ramonce some say he might be one of the worst, if not the worst, character guy in this draft. The only guy I'd draft out of Miami for this team is Beason. I can do without the rest of those guys.

Damn, I didn't know Ramonce was THAT bad. As for Merriweather, I think his character issues are blown out of proportion. He's not as bad as he's painted as.

1 MORE DAY!!!! Im itchin like a crackhead.

I'm suprised people don't want Anthony Gonzalez. His stock has risen a bit. Maybe too high, but if he is there at 51 I'd grab him in a heartbeat.

I think there might be a lot of WR's left in Round 2 that I wouldn't mind us taking. Gonzalez would certainly be one of those.

forenci how could you say such a thing?!??!?!?! jughead, i know you like gonzalez(i do too) but i feel craig davis is a little better. and honestly, brown is really growing on me, but i doubt he falls. really the only 1st round pick i wont like at all is joe staley. i think everyone else agrees that he would be our least favorite realistic pick.
