Wade will find a home next year I think. Let him get a full round of interviews and someone will be smart enough to pick him up.

That didn't start until everyone had their coaching staffs filled, though. Probably wouldn't have happened if he had something to do, lol.

If the Giants have another terrible year I would say Jerry Reese, Coughlin and Fewell should all be on the hot seat...

As for those already on the hot seat?

Well every time coughlin is on the hot seat he makes an improbably superbowl run and signs an extension

I'd definitely say he's the least impressive coach with multiple SB titles. Even the years they win they were underwhelming in the regular season, but he did it TWICE. Hard coach to figure out where he actually stands.

If the Giants do improbably win a Super Bowl this time around he'll ride off into the sunset. I believe he already is the oldest coach in the NFL.

I've said this before, but I think Reggie McKenzie will get one more crack at picking a head coach before he gets canned. He's a Raider and he was hand-picked by Ron Wolf and Ken Herock, and their word carries a lot of weight with the Davis family.

If/when he does get fired, it'll be interesting to see if they try to tap into the Packers FO again and lure Eliot Wolf, but he's probably in line to replace Ted Thompson in a couple years.

Nepotism in the NFL...

Considering the utter lack of talent the team had when he started I think Dennis Allen and Reggie McKenzie have done a great job. 5 wins in a rock hard division and no starting QB add to that their best player is constantly injured. I think it would be a mistake for the Raiders to fire either of them

And considering the bad contracts they had to work through.

They need to start drawing in some good young talent though. Veldheer and Houston both left. They went out and signed some old guys...woodson, tuck, woodley, MJD...nice role players.

They got their guy in Carr, one of the best players in the draft in Mack, and got jackson to hopefully make up for dropping the ball on saffold

Reggie McKenzie needs to go next. He has brought in little talent for Allen to work with.

Raiders named Sparano interim HC. How many times has that guy been an interim HC? Seems like a lot.

10 head coaches in 15 years for the Raiders. That's beyond sad.

Wonder where Allen ends up as a DC? I really like him. Wish he had a better team and organization to work with, though.

On top of that it was his decision to fire Hue Jackson. The only time period post 2003 that the Raiders were a decent enough team were the two years Jackson was the OC (2010) and then the HC (2011). McKenzie's clearly the worst GM in the NFL right now. Things should have improved tenfold after Davis died, the fact that it hasn't speaks to how bad McKenzie's been.

Hopefully Allen got paid because he had to know he was gonna get fired. McKenzie has been a joke. Qtf are all these old ass washed up veterans doing on the team? Why does Oakland never have even a couple building block players that are young? Oh yea they let those guys like Lamaar Houston go to overpay guys over 30. And then giving up assetts for old retread QBs everyone knew was already bad. Why does he get to keep his job? I can't think of one thing or 1 good player (maybe Mack will be) they have drafted or acquired recently. Either Oakland has the worst scouting department ever or the worst player development ever because it's been a joke.

It's become such a **** hole that they've had trouble retaining what quality young players they do develop, like Veldheer who apparently flat refused to even listen to the Raiders offer. And you're definitely not attracting the top FA talent either, having to overpay for who you do pick up.

And then they gave up about an entire draft's worth of picks and a bunch more money to quarterbacks who never amounted to much. (Campbell, Palmer, Pryor, Flynn, Tyler Wilson, Schaub, maybe more I'm forgetting...)

They need a complete culture change and it's apparently not going to happen while any Davis runs the team.

Last off-season everyone was saying Mark Davis should fire Dennis Allen. Both media and fans. Now he fires him and he's an idiot. He's been very patient with this regime. Mark clearly thought he was doing the right thing by hiring a GM (Reggie McKenzie) who came with the stamp of approval from Raider legends John Madden and Ron Wolf. Mark let Reggie pick his own Head Coach and have full control over the draft and free agency. Mark Davis hasn't been involved in anything football related. Under Allen Raiders are 8-28. That's what embarrassing not the firing off another Head Coach. Reggie McKenzie is clearly on the hot seat now. Reggie said himself his future with the Raiders has not been discussed yet, the owner told him to focus on the present.

I just don't understand how people can come down on Mark Davis when he's actually done what he's suppose to do. Let the football people run the team... Its just unfortunate he' got the wrong people for the job and he's correcting it now.
