Default Injury Updates

So what are the injury updates to some players from around the country going into the season?

Always good to know what to expect coming out of summer practice into the first week of the season. So what are we to expect on the injury front for the first couple of games?

For Nebraska, they haven't been slowed by many 'major' injuries. Just some heat exhaustion, hammy pulls, the normal stuff.

Of the two injuries from players that are/were expected to miss time ...

Matt Slauson looks like he might be out the opener with Nevada due to a shoulder injury. Should be back the next week for the Wake Forest game though.

Zack Bowman is already back practicing in full pads as of today. Most didn't expect him back from patella tendon surgery until late September or October at the earliest. Now it seems he will get PT in the Nevada and Wake games to slowly work him back into the starting lineup for the USC game.

I must say, if a healthy Zack Bowman is playing full strength against USC, I give us a 2.5% chance of winning that game. Up from the earlier 2%. :)
