I figured this is worth it's own thread. Anyway, what really provoked me to this is his quote on Cutler in the NFL preview "stumbled his first two starts, looked competent in the last three". Well apparently to him, competent is being the first to throw multiple TDs in his first 4 appearances. "competent" is blowing away every other rookie QB in rating, accuracy, ypa, and TD:INT ratio. "Competent" is numbers that when extrapolated over a 16 game season wouldn't be disappointing from a 3rd year guy.
