L.T Close to TD record
He's already got 23 total TD's so far in 11 games. Only needs 5 TD to just tie the record in 5 games.

He'll have 29 vs. Seattle, and then Lofa Tatupu will kill him on the goalline, preserving the record

The only reason I'll say no is that it's just so difficult to keep that pace up. If anyone else can do it though, it's LT. You'd think that teams would just make Rivers beat em', but whatever.

That's the thing; Rivers has beaten teams. The Steelers sold out to stop Tomlinson, and did a better job than anybody at it, and Rivers ate them alive. Rivers' superb play has opened up Tomlinson, which is the main reason for his performance this year.

I think anyone would be a fool not to challenge Rivers. I'm not saying that he's bad at all, he's proven that, but I'd take my chances against him rather than the best player in the NFL aside from Bailey.

"On Sunday, LaDainian Tomlinson broke the single season TD record with touchdown runs of 2, 11, 3, and 7 yards against a porous Buffalo Bills run defense that also yielded 173 total yards against the all-pro running back."

You're talking about LT here. The man has no weaknesses, so obviously it is impossible for him to get injured. Duh....

Yes he will.
He's by far the best RB in the NFL, he'll have the record within 3 weeks.

He has 22 right now, if he scores 1 a game for the rest of the year he will tie it, but he is Ladanian Tomlinson and that is just average, he will finish with 31 I think, thats like 1.5 a game for the rest of the year.

IMO he's the mos dominant RB since Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl. I wouldnt be *SHOCKED* to see him tie it next game, especially when 3 TD's would be just average for him lately.

Considering they are 8th in yards, 12th in scoring defense and they spend more time on the field than any other defense in the league I would say they are doing quite well. I don't know why ppl keep ragging Oakland's D. The offense is horrible, but the defense is one of the best young D's in the league.
