I only caught the last three rounds, but Holy was gun shy. He just wouldn't throw any punches. Sultan is talented and I'd like to see him take a shot at unification.

Anyone else looking forward to Tuesday's ESPN Classic special on Ray Mancini, mainly in regards to the anniversary of the Mancini/Deuk Koo Kim fight? Sportscenter ran some teaser bits on Friday, I'm really looking forward to it.

David Haye vs Jean Marc Mormeck tonight, any of you guys interested in it at all, I think it's actually got the makings of a real good fight, Haye has dynamite in his fists.

Yeah, I watched the Contender finale. It was amazing. They were throwin bombs from the opening bell. I will definitely be checkin out the special on Ray Mancini and I'm gonna try to find a way to watch Mormeck/Haye on Sopcast. That should be a great one.

Contender finale was FOTY so far imo. However, I dont like the way Codrington reacts to punches, he never seems to be able to just absord a blow, thats what is going to hold him back.
I am off to Cotto-Mosely and I am pumped as hell man. This is a true 50-50 fight, nobody has any clue who is going to win. As a Cotto fan I am nervous, but my god this is how boxing should be.

I hope you found a way, it wasn't fireworks as I predicted but a good tactical bout with a great finish. I won't ruin the result for you guys.

I was trippin thinkin Shane was done. I'll admit that. That **** was a great fight. I was thoroughly impressed with Miguel Cotto. He is the real deal, but he did run in the 12th round. There aint no way around it. If Oscar ran in the last rounds against Tito and Floyd ran in the last round against Baldomir, then Cotto ran in the last round against Shane. Regardless, it was a great fight.

great fight. yeah cotto did run, but in the same respect mosley wasnt going out throwing and trying to win. cotto actually landed more effective shots in the 12th and that is the whole goal of boxing, so i cant blame him, especially when his corner told him he was winning. Anyone who questions either guys will in this fight doesnt know boxing, this was a brutal, brutal fight.

God I cant wait for the FM - Hatton fight, Ricky will probably get his **** kicked in but hopefully it'll be a stormer.
Super read for anyone actually iterested in Ricky Hatton... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/spo...cle2863107.ece
Quote:
Hatton doesn’t care that the boxing writers give him little chance against Mayweather. Thomas Hauser, perhaps the most respected American writer, rates Hatton, but says he will lose fighting Mayweather at the heavier welterweight division. Adam Smith, a close friend of the Hattons, and Sky Sports’ boxing commentator, gives him a 2-out-of-10 shot. Many American writers have not been so kind.
Hatton will shadow-box his way through the jitters on December 8, as he always does. At 7pm, as the first bell approaches, he will walk to the ring with Graham, Kayes, his cuts man, Mick Williamson, and, depending on their availability, with either Wayne Rooney or David Beckham carrying his belts.
When Blue Moon is played, the lucky 3,900 who won the ballot to be in the arena for the big fight, the 10,000 watching on closed-circuit screens around the casino, and tens of thousands at home, will scream along to the words. Then Mayweather will arrive, and we will see whether Hatton can become the world’s best boxer, or simply remain its most amiable ambassador.

Can't wait. Even if I wasn't a Floyd Mayweather fan I'd still buy all his fights just to listen to Roger in his corner. Roger is the ****** man. You know that every time he opens his mouth he's gonna say some akward, vulgar and hilarious ****. He's the star of 24/7, not Floyd, Hatton or Oscar. I wish Roger was my uncle.
