for example, Redskins sign Zorn as there offensive coordinator, but they dont have a coach

Although I believe that the HC should have a major influence which I think they currently do. I think that the final decision should go with the owner. Most coaches come from a coordinator position. Do you think Wade Phillips knows much about running an offense? or Rod Marinelli? I don't. So why would we choose OC's to be complementary to the HC? Although I fully believe that Phillips and Marinelli should be able to fully choose the DC's.
