Carr and Harrington both on the market
so the falcons cut harrington today.
http://www.atlantafalcons.com/News/A...arrington.aspx
that puts carr and harrington back on the market a year after they were signed onto teams as backup roles. what a sad first round that is turning out to be for quarterbacks.

Man, the Bills were so screwed anyway they went that year. It was either Mike Williams (OT) or Joey Harrington. Just a really bad top of the draft that year.

I'd take Harrington on the Pack to backup Arod. Not Carr though. He's the worst QB I've ever watched trying to play football.

Anyone think any of these guys ever have a chance of securing themselves a starting job and ever having a decent career? Or who is most liekly to be successful if at all.

Wow. And I thought Carr would turn out to be a decent quarterback, turns out all the hits in Houston really messed him up.

if byron leftwich went to a team with a good oline he could succeed...he's just to immobile and has bad mechanics to be on a team whose oline moves...he doesn't step up into the pocket or move with it very well...

I'd take Harrington to back up Drew Brees.

<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

They will both follow in the lines of Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch and all the other 1st round busts. Be given a chance by a couple other teams based on potential until every is satisfied that their is no chance they'll live up to it.
