First time Florida State has been competent in years so there fans grow a little backbone? USC may have had a down year, but lets not kid ourselves...Florida State is a second rate program that is taking advantage of Miami sucking.

But back to the route of your butthurt: Matthew Thomas doesn't want to play for your second rate school. Get over it. FSU is on their way of winning back to back OFFseason titles. Congrats! Hopefully this one will get you over NC State this year.

Well it's correlated to the 8th most victories in CFB since Fisher took over, only behind Alabama, Stanford, Oregon, Oklahoma, and LSU on the BCS level. Whereas USC comes in at 30th in that span, behind the likes of West Virginia, Clemson, Michigan State, and VaTech (amongst many others).

That is what FSU is know for. Well that and playing in a crappy conference...

Count this: 11 national championships to FSU's 2 and USC WILL win a national championship again before FSU does.

Arrests are near an all time low actually and academics are vastly improved. Only player who surprised FSU by not qualifying was now UF DT Damien Jacobs, and with the DL talent FSU got after him that was no loss at all (he'd be 3rd String at best right now). Other than that the players who haven't qualified were Sign and Place anyway who FSU never re-recruited.

Only James Wilder Jr. really got into trouble and compared to the 90's what he did was nothing. If anything he learned from his mistakes and rededicated himself last year and it showed on the field. Greg Reid was kicked off the team as was Arrington Jenkins.

USC will not win a MNC (pr even a Pac 12 title) as long as Lane Kiffin is there.

this will basically mean that USC wont win a nattie this season, not really a grand statement (although it will take some time to rebuild from the kiff disaster i think)

That's what I was thinking. haha Masshole didn't think that one out.

However, if Kiffin is fired I wouldn't think it would take that long to recover with a team full of young talent like SC has.

With how little depth USC has it will be a substantial rebuilding effort. You are coming off a 7-6 season where you were the preseason #1 team. That isn't a quick fix, that is a tear down.

With how little you know of USC's program factored in with your homer bias I do not think a rational response is warranted.

In fact, you are the who called me out for Matthew Thomas wanting to sign on signing day with SC and were wrong. Let the butt hurt flow. You would think if you were so confident in the fact USC is an inferior program and FSU is a powerhouse your insecurities wouldn't show.

Lets let this season talk and we'll see how it goes. Until then, congrats on the OFFseason championship...oops I mean 3 years in a row OFFseason champions Seminoles. Would that make FSU's first dynasty? :)
