McCartney is not a lock. In his own words, he's 75% Cane. WVU fans are still confident about him and UF is also in the mix.

Harris is FAR from a lock. We only plan on taking 2 WRs and it looks like McCartney and Hurns are the 2 (both are/were silent commits). Harris is ours if we want him but that's not clear ATM.

Dunkley is a strong Gator lean, and rightfully so. He's a good fit in their offense. Thompson is a pretty big disappointment thus far (shoulda been a Cane) but Debose will shine anywhere in the country (when healthy). I wouldn't get too upset over WR recruits...we'll get ours.

Godfrey is a great passer but he's still really small. He doesn't fit in our offense....he needs to be in a spread.

McCartney is no lock but you got him commited ? Even as "silent" that doesn't make any sense. Oh and by the way Arthur Brown got play LB tonight, for 1 play. LMFAO! Dude should transfer to FIU.

This just proves how far out of the loop you are....yet you act like you know everything.

McCartney silently committed at the spring game. It was rumored/reported everywhere.

He's a lot more open now but he still favors us by a large margin (75%) and he's got a spot reserved if he wants it.

Arthur Brown is gonna be our MLB next year, why would he go to FIU? The reason he isn't getting on the field is because he's still struggling to get a command of the scheme and handle audibles and things like that. Sharpton is much more experienced while Cookie and Futch have picked things up quicker than Brown. Arthur is still a heck of a talent.

Plus, did you not hear what Shannon said after the game about moving guys around? When he was the LB coach here they moved Ray Lewis from OLB to MLB.....and he became Ray Lewis. You have to be patient with these guys.

Look at our team this year. We got Leonard Hankerson stepping up as a Junior, Dedrick Epps and Tervaris Johnson at TE, Matt Pipho and AJ Trump on the OL, Steven Wesley leading the team in TFLs, Joe Joseph going from a pylon to a force as a 5th yr Senior, Randy Phillips becoming a leader as a 5th/6th year Senior after starting out as a CB. Then there's Sam Shields going from offense to defense and starting for us.

What did those guys do (positively) up until this year?

Stop hassling our young guys for not producing and be patient. This isn't the old Miami where guys struggle through mediocrity for 4/5 years. Guys will produce.

Plus, isn't AB one of the best ST players on the team? I haven't seen much Miami this year, but I remember hearing it from somewhere last year.

Dude, your just throwing out names. Pipho blows, Shields gets picked on every game and Tervaris Johnson has 3 catches in 4 years. Steven Wesley and Joe Joseph have always been in the rotation, they aren't new to me. Maybe to you. And Randy Phillips whose seen Brandon Meriweather and Kenny Phillips come and go just lost his job to two freshmen: Vaughn & Armstrong. I also recall Ray Lewis beasting as early as freshman. The fact that Brown can't get PT in a blowout vs. FAMU for no more than a series is all I need to know. He's never going to do anything here. Might as well transfer to FIU or somebody. And the myth that he's one of our better special teams player is ridiculous. Matt Bosher has recorded more tackles. Enough said.

You are wrong about Randy Philips. He has not lost his job, he has been injured. And also, stop hating. You are ******* annoying.

I just read somewhere that Jordan Futch will be out for the season and its a possibility that Fortson will also miss the rest of the season.

Yea, Ryan Hill is done for the year as well. Josh Holmes and Aldarius should be out for a few weeks, Patrick Hill is probably going to be out for a while, might redshirt. Injuries are getting pretty ridiculous.

It's being televised on CBS college sports. Comcast (local), Directv and Dish Network all carry that channel.

I just want a quick 21-0 lead. Please??? The longer this game stays close, the more I worry with the serious lack of bodies on defense. Can't get that unit tired.

As a fellow Canadian, I feel your pain. Though I have a time shift so I get all the broadcast from all the zones in Canada. Out here in the west, its almost always some Pac-10 game.

On another note, Brandon Harris leads the nation in PBU's with 11.
