Should've let Doucet score so ND could get the ball back with 1:30 left

With that arm Russell's longest career completion is 58 yards!?!?

He was drafted already by the Cubs.

But the thing is, even with a player with great talent such as Brien Taylor, it's really hard to make it to the MLB through the Minors and get the salary you could get in the NFL. Of course, if Gil Meche could make X amount of dollars than Shark can but the road is tumultous.

I'm not saying the NFL is easy, quite to the contrary, but if he quits the dream of playing baseball then he can at least make the money firsthand of a first/second rounder.

I think they said it was Early Doucet's longest reception.

I just looked it up and 58 is Russell's longest for the season.

So, he's a junior... any word on him going to the draft? With Samardzjrtyllioa and Quinn gone, this is probably going to be his best season. Anybody else's thoughts?

So far the giant from LSU has impressed me far more than Quinn. Brady as usual is shaky against a good defense. I'm starting to think more and more that Russell is gonna be throwing passes in the bay area this year.

I'm surprised at how well Quinn has been protected today. Though he is still playing poorly despite his good pass protection.

Im actually rooting for Notre Dame because it would put USC in a better situation with Chad Jones and Joe Mcknight.
