This is true, but they are also brilliant. I saw a program that proved crows remember faces their entire lives, and not only that, can explain them in enough details that they can tell other crows about it. I scientist in the Boston area conducted studies where he and another man wore a mask while they checked on the health of the crows. Two years later, he would walk around Boston without a mask and as soon as he would put it on the crows would freak out.

For another experiment, he raised three crows only wearing a (different) mask and set them free, with tracking chips on them. Two of them died but the only remaining live one was in Central Park New York. Same premise, he came up toward the crow without a mask on and it wouldn't let him get close. Then he went behind a wall, put on the mask he wore when he was raising them, and it flew over to him and landed on his arm.

Seeing those two experiments go through really gave me a new respect for an animal I had almost no respect for before.
