After 7 hrs and 61% completion... I cancelled it. Not worth amount of time since it'll be a game I probably won't play much.

So, for free it's not a bad game at all. I basically have just been off by my self getting my feet wet but it's pretty fun.

Yeah I found it fun, but not worth paying for. The gameplay is different from most MMOs, a lot more action oriented. It plays like a hack-and-slash/beat-em-up. I found the questing to be pretty well done, and the solo quest dungeons are awesome.
I never raided but I pvp'd at max level. It's pretty fun to jump in and play for a little every once in a while but not really gripping enough to pay a monthly fee for.
Star Trek Online is becoming free to play also. This one I pay for and definitely plan to continue playing now that it's free. The ground combat is kind of boring, but the space combat is a lot of fun. Most of the time it has some really good mission/quest design. They're like playing an episode of Star Trek. Players can also create their own missions and put online for others to play. Some trekkies just do story missions with little combat involved. Good character customization also, especially if you're a nerd. You choose your tactical/science/engineering officers to mix and match abilities they have along with a pretty large talent/skill tree. Great fun for sci-fi nerds/trekkies.
lol forgot this was the ps3 thread not pc, oh well. if you have an average computer you can play star trek.

I don't know if there is anything more satisfying than shooting a Zombie in the head with a shotgun.

Burying your axe in the head of a bandit is pretty satisfying as well.

Do you have to install anything before you watch a Blu-ray? Or do you just put it in and it will start playing?

You have to find it on the dashboard but when you click on it it should only take a minute or two for it to load up and start.

If you just put the movie in, it should show up under the "Videos" section. Kind of like when you have a game in, a disc icon should show up under Videos for you to click on. Shouldn't need to install anything.
This goes for Blurays or regular DVDs.

Just make sure you download and install the BR drivers first before you try a BR disk. Especially if you're going to use any of the online features.

I was having alot of fun doing the early solo missions on DCUO but I'm stuck on the first event mission Scarecrow.
I either die or other people in my group die every time. I still don't really know what the hell I'm doing on that game lol.

According to the PlayStation Blog, the PSN will be down for maintenance for most of Thursday, November 17th. The nature of the maintenance is unknown, though the post refers to it as "routine scheduled maintenance."

I just picked up Madden 12 and have some questions...
Does it automatically update the roster or do you have to do it?
Also I thought I heard if a player is hurt in real life they are hurt in the update is that true?
If so I don't want to do it. To many Chiefs on IR...

I don't know if they auto update but what I do know is that yes if they are hurt they are hurt in the game. This really doesn't effect dynasty mode if you turn pre-exsisting injuries off.

I just don't want to start a franchise with the Chiefs and have half my team on IR.

You have to go into the Online section and do a roster update, look around in the menus and you'll find it. Yes, they'll update injured players but if for example you start up a franchise you can choose to not have any injured players to start the season.
