I think Toy Story is overrated as hell, but i still like them. I dont see what makes them masterpieces, though. I just recently saw 3 as well in 3D, twas sweet, but not earth shakingly so.

Toy story 1 & 2 were two of my favorite kid movies. The third was very good, but it didnt make me feel all warm and fuzzy like the other two, idk maybe I went in with too many expectations.

Also onto the Crazies, I was pleasantly surprised with it. Nothing amazing, but a pretty good horror by todays standards.

The reason I like Rotten Tomatoes is just because it gives you a nice general feeling about the movie. If 70% of the reviews are bad then it probably is not very good.

Yeah I get a lot of **** for respecting critics views, but they know what they're talking about for the most part and I generally agree with them.

How is he right? Critics watch a lot of movies, and generally are more likely to have a solid opinion on whether the movie is watchable or not (and using a larger sample size is obviously the way to go). That doesn't mean I agree with critics every time, but more often than not, I do.

If I think I will like it then I will go see it regardless. Rotten Tomatoes hates Grown Ups but it was an entertaining movie for me. I dont go into every movie thinking its going to be The Dark Knight quality and I dont expect it to be.

Any of you guys ever play Hollywood Mogul? It is a pretty neat text based game that can literally run on any computer. You basically own a film studio and start out with a certain amount of money. You have to make cast actors/actresses in various roles, hire directors, producers, and put films into production in various different genres. You make money off your films based on the time of year you release the film in the theaters (how many theaters you release it in) plus you make money off DVD rentals, soundtracks etc. There is also an award ceremony each year that does major awards like Best Support, best actress, Best screenplay, etc. etc.

Its a pretty neat game that has taken much of my time in the past.
