Despite the Western setting and characters, this movie is not a Western. Virtually it's a drama regarding the fame that went to Ford's head after he killed James. It is not a Western at all, and to truly get the movie one must understand that.

Yes! I just realized I hate every movie with child actors. Movies that other people liked as well. Narnia, Harry Potter (that's more because the books are so amazing), War of the Worlds.

They've been pretty good, but in no way rival the books, which is what I believe RH#1 was saying.

I just watched OotP the other day...and I still think it is an extremely rivetting movie...real turning point in the series....if you don't look at it vs. the book it's actually really good....but no movie will ever live up to those books.

Order of the Phoenix was the 5th one right? That was just released last summer? I thought that one was terrible. The 4th one I think was my favorite. That or the 3rd. All the other ones, not so much.
And theres no way you cant compare it with the books unless you havent read the books. Its pretty much psychologically impossible.

Yeah, the 5th one was the only one I actually enjoyed. The first four I was always thinking to myself how much sweeter the scenes seemed in the book. But I thought they could have done the ending of the OotP a lot better in the movie. Not a big thing, but it really pissed me off when Sirius stood there for five seconds all surprised after getting hit with the killing curse. It's a ******* killing curse. You don't get five seconds to be surprised after you get hit with it. He could have sent three curses back at Bellatrix in that time.

I always just say the 4th-7th are better than the first three. Too hard to compare them after that.

Didn't DDL give an award he won to Heath? I see a lot of similarities between the 2. Both don't just take any role offered. They take roles they are interested ina and will challenge them.

Strange Wilderness was the dumbest movie I've seen in a long time. I'm all about stupid-funny jokes and movies, my humor isn't very sophisticated, and I'm telling you I didn't laugh once. What an awful movie.

Just saw 'The Invasion'. Tripped out movie. That would be a real nightmare if it happened.
