Cavill must have been eating steroids for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The guy was a stick, like a month and a half ago. He was huge for that Immortals movie, and then lost a **** ton of weight for another role. Only to balloon up again. Steroids/HGH are so prominent in Hollywood, for sure...look no further than Bale, Jackman, and Tom Hardy. Their muscle gain in a short amount of time just cannot be natural. Otherwise, there is just some hollywood weight gain miracle that no one knows about.

Yeah I actually like the red belt in that picture. Still not feeling like superman will be good.

I actually dont have much of a problem with the suit...it's just kind of bland with all the dark colors near his mid section, though. I dont see why Superman would need a belt. But they could have used some color around his waist line. I also like the long flowing Spartan type cape. That could look really cool, depending upon how it's shot.

Is it a reboot or just next up, because Superman Returns is nearly flawless-never get tired of it. Imo it's the best comic book movie Singer's been involved with. Then again...it would be hard to see Routh as Supes after Scott Pilgrim and Dylan Dog.

people are picky about superman and apparently routh didn't talk enough and didn't punch anybody in superman returns. I thought it was very entertaining and that spacey was a good lex. they keep rebooting these movies and everyone is never happy with what they come up with (sans batman).

It's a reboot, which is expected to become a multi-film franchise.

The synopsis reads like the original, but with more onus on him becoming Superman, initially. Supposed to be more emotionally gripping and grittier than past Superman movies. But it will still feature Zod and at least the other alien chick with him, like the second movie. Snyder wants lots of hand to hand combat, I heard as well. Sounds like the Kents' will be a lot more involved, too.

I enjoy Superman 1 and love Superman 2, but christ is Superman Returns boring. I'd rather watch paint dry or grass grow than that borefest.

I didn't have a problem with Superman Returns.

It wasn't great by any means but it's a comic book movie so people will find some reason to hate it...

I usually love comic book movies but I didn't like Superman Returns either.
K. Spacey was the only highlight, imo. I actually thought he was great.
Wish he could continue to be Lex, tbh.

What a *** outfit. Need to kick it old school instead of trying to get all fancy. Dont know why these new movies feel they should change the costume style of superheros. They are making them worse not better.
