I watched Wicker Park tonight. Despite the mediocre reviews, I actually really liked it. Sure, it aint too plausible. But I enjoyed it...and simultaneously fell in love with Diane Kruger and Rose Byrne. lol.
it lack any emotion what so ever, it was basically just a action movie which isn't what I thought it would be going in. maybe my expectations were too high
Probably because the main character pretty clearly has some form of autism, and it's hard for him to emote. Gosling's scene in the Strip Club was all the emotion it needed for me (plus Cranston in general had plenty of emotion).
Location: Two-thirds of the Earth is covered by water, the other one-third is covered by Luke Kuechly
Saw Contagion. Hated it. The best way I can sum it up is that it's a number of different subplots, lacking any plot bringing it together. With so many unconnected characters being continually jumped to and from, I really never developed any care for the story of any of them. The story of the virus itself was boring, and seemed to lack any point other than it simply happened. The only benefit would be the scientific accuracy of the film, but I've seen more interested documentaries for that aspect.
