I saw American History X for the first time a few months ago. Very good movie, but the ending made me mad. It was fitting, but it made me mad.

Keep patting yourself on the back for occurrences that already happen every week or so.

Man, blue ray players are so damn expensive. I was going to get one pretty soon but I don't even know which one to get and the cheapest one is like 350. I guess I will just wait till the price comes down in a year or so.

I understand why you think so. The first one had a better story. But the 2nd one had more and better action scenes.
The story in the 2nd one was pretty great also.
You can't go wrong with either. Both were great movies.
I guess I prefer T2 because I saw it first.

o some advice: dont buy just simply a blu ray player, buy a ps3. they are virtually the same price, may b diff by 30 bucks and the ps3 is a blu-ray player and has numerous other features, its a much better investment

People compare this to Ferris Bueller?? That's a laugh.
I would avoid it- the plot drags out so much and at first it seems somewhat realistic but after a certain point I could not take it anymore.
It also has some horrible messages like popularity being the only important thing in high school- it was so pretentious

I haven't seen it compared to Ferris Bueller.. but I could tell that it was trying very very hard to be that type of movie.

If you watch the commercials they were calling it "This generations Ferris Bueller" and claiming "Picks up where Juno left off." With that ad alone I didn't want to watch it. And if I do, I would be going in with extreme prejudice.

Alpha Dog wasn't a bad movie at all and Yelchin was pretty good in it. And I liked Charlie Bartlett, but that's just me.

the only good actor in Alpha Dog was Emile Hersich (sp?) and maybe Justin Timberlake...

Ben Foster is the best young actor today. He will be the next powerhouse leading man. He reminds me a lot of Sean Penn.

that's just not true...
you've got:
Christian Bale (I know he's not your typical young actor)
Casey Affleck
Emile Herisch (sp?)
Keira Knightley
Jake Gyllenhaal
Shia Lebeouf
I'm sure there's more but I don't want to think about it anymore...it was an offbase statement though....

Foster is better then all of them. I wouldn't consider Bale young. The only one who I would make an argument for is Gylenhaal, who is just as good as Foster.

how is foster better than all of them...he's done one good movie, 3:10 to yuma...he needs to stop doing B movies (which is what 30 days of night and X-men and Alpha Dog were)...to be considered the best young actor out there...
Knightely has done more quality movies, Emile Hirsch has done more quality movies, even Shia Lebeouf has done better movies...and Ben Foster needs to star in his own movie before he can be listed as the best young actor as well...
did you not see The Assassination of Jesse James or Gone Baby Gone? Casey Affleck owns Foster...

I have known Casey Affleck is a great actor since Gerry. You clearly have not seen all of Ben Foster's work. If you start renting everything he has done you will realize that he is ******* great in everything he does. Just because Hirsch and Affleck are more well known doesn't mean they are better. I have seen all of Affleck and Hirsch's films so I can comment. You have not seen all of Foster's so you cannot.
