yeah college looked god awful and the critics agreed. Drake Bell or w/e his name is, funny looking kid from American Idol, and fat annoying kid who is in transformers for 2 seconds but annoyed the hell out of you in those 2 seconds...equals FAIL.

College wasnt THAT bad it had a pretty entertaining first half. I would say the first half was funny/solid the second half was putrid, the problem is its just too good spirited and sappy in the second half and lost all the humor, picking on kids and fat jokes was all the movie had going for it.

I watched Goodfellas again (only for the 2nd time) last night. What a great movie. Despite it being 2 hours and 20 minutes long, it felt just right. The pacing is brilliant in my opinion. Never throughout the movie did I feel as if certain scenes were going on for too long or certain scenes needed to be emphasized more. Scorsese is an epic story teller. I can't wait for more of his stuff.

I still have yet to watch the entire movie in one sitting, i always just catch parts of it on a movie channel. I loved most of what ive seen. College, i tried watching it online and couldnt get past the first 20 minutes without feeling like been there done that. Same with Sex drive. I hate stupid characters in high school that are virgins because in every one of those movies a girl could be all over them yet they think to talk about what thier mom bought them for their birthday or wahtever (horrible example). I know thts the point to be funny, but i just find it stupid anyone can suck that bad with girls, and it annoys me to the point it just isnt funny anymore, that and weve all seen it a million times.

Tom Cruise and Matthew McConeghey actually made Tropic Thunder for me. Great to see them in funny supporting roles

I liked 21...the trailer for the movie was excellent, it certainly did it's job in selling the movie. It didnt quite live up to the trailer but, i liked it.

Well, Kate Bosworth is hot. Not much else I can say about it except I like Jim Sturgess, despite the fact that he starred in one movie I wasn't a fan of (21) and one movie I absolutely despised to its very core (Across the Universe).

I have the big 5 comedies ranked -
1. Zack and Miri Make a Porno
2. Tropic Thunder
3. Step Brothers
4. Role Models
5. Pineapple Express
There is a huge gap between 1 and 2. I really enjoyed 2 and 3. Mentions of Kiss and Paul Rudd made 4 enjoyable. I thought 5 was alright.

I'd go(not considering Wall-E a comedy):
1. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
2. Tropic Thunder
3. Burn After Reading
4. Zack and Miri Make a Porno
5. Definitely, Maybe

I haven't seen Z&M but I'd rank the rest like:
1) Role Models
2) Tropic Thunder
3) Pineapple Express
4)Step Brothers

I was just ranking the summer/fall comedies but if I was ranking all year FSM would have easily been number 2.

What was great about this years comedies was the adult tone that the majority of them had.

Since you were ranking these (I have yet to see Role Models, because I'm a moron):
1. Tropic Thunder
2. Zack and Miri Make a Porno
3. Step Brothers
4. Pineapple Express (a catastrophic disappointment)

while liked Z&M i think Gonz hyped it a bit much for me, and i went in and felt underwhelmed by it. I thought it was very funny, but nothing new. Same with Step brothers, found it hilarious but same old Ferrell with more adult words. I actually really enjoyed pinneapple for some reason, and tropic is a little over rated, But i agree that Matt and cruise did an amazing job with their roles.

Ah! Yes, you did. Nice.
It's weird seeing TT so high on so many lists. Maybe I need to re-watch it...
