One of the writers of Forrest Gump wrote Benjamin Button. There are some pretty obvious similarities anyways.

Quantum of Solace was pretty average. Didn't really do it for me.

Forrest Gump still sucks. And Mystic River is an awesome movie, just throwing that one out there.

The Spirit was hilarious. I actually really enjoyed it. It's one of those movies you just have to see with the right people if you know what I mean. Also SOO many hot chicks in it.

I respectfully disagree. I always see people bash this movie and I still don't get it.

Here is what the movie critic wrote about Benjamin Button and I definitely agree with it a lot:

An extravagantly ambitious movie that's easy to admire but a challenge to love.
|
I really enjoyed it, but it didn't give me that "Wow" feeling that I was expecting. I wouldn't put it on the directing because that was phenomenal, but there was something about it that it just seemed to be lacking and I don't know exactly what it is...

Totally agree. It's a really good flick but it does lack in something that's hard to put my finger on...maybe too repetitive? I mean,

Going to the movies tonight with some friends and they said the options were: The spirit, Valkyrie, and Benjamin Button. I'm definitely leaning towards Benjamin Button but would you recommend it to a bunch of 17/18 year olds?

I would.
Oh, I finally saw Frost/Nixon. Also a good flick.

I am going to enlist the help of people on this movie thread. I am casting for the movie tourny right now and I am looking for actors (male and female) who can handle Kevin Smith's dialogue. They need to be young (20-30). They will be playing stoners. I am looking for them to have some dramatic acting chops but still have a funny side. Feel free to throw out any name you want to. Kristen Bell was my first young choice and Jason Segal will also likely be cast. I have a few ideas but I would love some more people to consider. Thanks.

Already gone. Too bad because I would have picked him. I just took NPH and now I just need two more.

Hmm. I am trying to stay away from actors who have appeared together in films and Fogler stars in Fanboys with Kristen Bell. If I cannot think of anyone else I might consider him. At this point I probably like Segal more than Fogler though if I were to abandon my rule (I love Segal to death). The other problem with Fogler is that he is has talent, yelling really ******* loud. Thanks for the suggestion though.
