Good for Romo, but a lot of those things you listed do not at all help equate to a great story.
Warner I guess would be the best.

That's because it's going to be a trilogy, I read that before hand and wasn't mad at the end knowing that there was going to be loose ends. I liked that movie for the story, I think it would be a much better book than a movie, it just didn't play out well on the screen for me. You have to admit the scene where the Polar Bears fought was bad ass.

It is a book trilogy...dunno if you knew that or not, but you said "would be a much better book."

I'd rather here the Rex Grossman story.
How a young boy grew up in rural Indiana to become the greatest porn star of all time.

Which was the only good part about the book.
I thought the book was awful. Just throwing that out there.

Have you seen other Scorsese films like Taxi Driver or Raging Bull or Goodfellas? Im only asking because many people in my school are like "The Departed: Scorsese's best" or are just in love with Damon and Dicaprio (who are both some of the best hollywood has to offer) due to their looks. Its a copy of a chinese movie, Infernal Affiars.

Yes I have. Besides the fact that it is a copy of another movie, I think it is classic. the script is unreal, one of the best ever. the acting and directing is great. i just like the movie overall in terms of cinematography, the key grips, scripts and body doublees

Yeah, that's annoying.. I saw on the newest DVD edition of "Taxi Driver", on the front it has a sticker that says "From the Director of The Departed". I have a dislike for movie-ignorant people.

Well, that's probably trying to lure in the younger crowd that have never seen some of Scorsese's earlier works. Still pretty lame, though.

"The Godfather" starring Al Pacino from "Gigli".
Not comparing The Departed to Gigli but you know what I'm getting at.
