As most of you probably already know, though I didn't see much discussion on it, Parker is going to be out ten weeks...which means the pressure on Craig Davis to step up earlier will be there...

Do you think this means Buster takes the number two role from the start of the season, or it goes to someone else, maybe Floyd?

That's great news, I'm gald to see Davis was making an impact right away...he could be another "reach" that turns out great for us...

I still think, Like Rivers said, Losing Parker is going to be huge, he was the go-to-guy in tight spots last year, but it looks like Davis may be able to neutralize at least some of his loss.

On a couple side notes from that article, really nice to see that Kaeding hit a 58 yarder, though I'm sure it isn't as significant as it sounds, considering last year he hit a 60 yarder in preseason practice.

someone mentioned earlier something about davis just getting a few packages and the number 2 role kinda changing hands... i guess you could call it a second wide reciever by commitee
Floyd in goaline davis early downs.. maybe some other guys in 3rd down.. you catch the drift..

I think that Davis is gonna get the 2006 addai treatment. He'll see alotta of packages that feature him in say a bunch set, but i have trouble seeing him starting over experienced guys on a veteran team. especially with a new coaching staff, i dont think it woudl send a good message to the team, and would be bad for morale if they had davis starting at the start of the season.
