Seriously, we have a big game this weekend. Cowboys are coming off a big win, teams coming off big wins, have a big let down the following week. It's very common. I'm scared of what the Rams can do to our porous defense. This ain't the Miami or Chicago offense we're facing... Nothing close.

I dont think Leonard will hurt us much on the ground but, catching the ball out of the backfield...I think he could really hurt us this week. We havent been much for covering the RB these past few years. As for their O-line...they're banged up but, they still played well last week...I think Bulger was only sacked once and they ran the ball well. Like Ward said, it's a trap game...our boys have to come out strong.

The boys started as a 12 point favorite and are now a 13.5 point favorite on bodog. There is virtually ZERO chance the boys lose. Teams that are +10 point favorites or more on vegas betting lines lose the money line less than 5% of the time.

With this team, prove it by winning big. Last year's December was enough for me to say prove it a few times then I will believe.
Still get puke in my mouth thinking of Detroit.

Why dwell on last year? This year we went into Chicago as dogs and blew them out. This year we have coaches putting our playmakers in position to make plays. Play to win as opposed to playing not to lose (Seattle last year) If we win big or by 3 doesnt matter, just keep winning baby!

Our opponents combined record is 2-7.
I am not getting too excited yet. These guys have lots to prove.

We're giving our opponents loses, thats why they have losing records. If we were 0-3, The Giants would be 2-1, Fins 1-2, and Bears 2-1 for a grand total of 5-4. I for one don't really care about strength of schedules. I think the Giants are still better than their record indicates. But I still agree with having lots to prove!

You are right. But you can say that statement if we are 16-0 and going to the playoffs with a bye and still be right by saying, we have a lot to prove.
It's a pretty safe stance to take. No arguing with that. Not so much of a bold thing to say, but yeah, everyone should agree with you. I never want this team to feel comfortable where they are at. They should be continually striving for excellence.

16-0 means alot more than 3-0. This team has lots to prove with all the talent it has.

If we're confident about simply being a playoff team now (and we should be, the rest of the world thinks so), what is the difference? We still need to prove ourselves in the playoffs. 16-0 only gets us to the playoffs.

It's not a trap game if the opponent is good... it's a trap when it's a weaker team.

I think he met the Bills game would be the trap game, since the team might be looking ahead to the Patriots.

Now that I re-read what he said, you're probably right. My bad.

I want to see Ware rack up some sacks the next couple games. A banged up QB this week and a rookie QB the week after. Both with average O-line's in front of them.

Sure we have talent. Who says we don't. I never had.
I never said our draft picks this last year where not talented. Quite the contrary.
I said they where the wrong players for our needs. I said they would not see much playing time other than Folk (by virtue of making the team) and Spencer (by virtue of injury).
I also said we had some holes to fill (NT, CB, WR and Safety). And low and behold we still have those same holes. Even worse, we got injuries where SURPRISE we knew we where old.
But as usual you miss the central point to score stupid points. I don't think I have ever met someone so willfully ignorant in my posting days.
You are just real dense and love to twist around things to try and do "gotcha."
You should be a Congressman or Senator or something. You have the perfect level of mediocre intellect and the perfect say-nothing mindset.
